Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 mtr in wide and not exc. 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of underground cable and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated soil in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of excavted soil to a distance not exc. 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning with a layer of river sand 23 cm thick under and above the cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note : - Punned down thickness upto 18cm shall only be measured and paid.

M&L for providing of new sub class 'B' bricks, old size, well burnt laid flat dry for protection of under ground cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation and mass concrete for fixing poles etc including excavation of any strata, taken out cable & demolition of old concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in coping / plinth blocks for poles and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed including necessary Steel form work and finishing the surfaces fair in forms & demolition of old concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for electrical high insulation tape roll of 25mm wide and 25 Mtr length (RYB) for repair/maintenance of cables joining in pannels (1100 Volts)/ conductors or fixing of thimbles or colour coding of cables in panels/joints and installation of securituy lights in poles etc complete all as specified and directed.

Note: Two runs of cable and one run of earth wire and one run of conduit shall be measured as one length.
