Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the bidders in a complete manner. Incomplete formats may constitute sufficient reason at the discretion of CNNL for rejection of the bid.

The intending Bidder/firm/company shall provide accurate information on the related form about any litigation or Arbitration resulting from contracts completed or ongoing under its execution over the last five years. The consisting history of awards against the tenderer may result in failure of the application.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The contractor has to submit MDP compulsorily with respect of utilization of Royalty Payable Materials to the extent of 100%, failing the royalty charges, additional payment on royalty & penalties if any will be recovered from the contractor bills as per the prevailing Government orders

The rates quoted by the contractor must be exclusive GST but inclusive of all other taxes & Cesses. The contractor is also responsible to pay quarry Fees, Royalties, Octroi Dues levied by the state Government or any Local body or an authority and ground rent, if any, charged by the Executive Engineer for stacking materials. No Extra Payment on this account will be made to the contractor

Applicable GST will be paid separately at the prevailing rates & GST TDS will be deducted as per the prevailing Government Orders.

Increase in GST if any shall not be paid in extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time.

Materials required for the work shall be procured by the Contractor themselves and should get the same tested by the quality control authority of CNNL before using.

The work includes all lead and lift and work shall be carried out as per instruction of engineer-in-charge of the work. And all the specification as per Indian road congress and all relevant Indian codes. The rate for the specifications in the Schedule-B includes all lead and lift, irrespective of distance and height. No extra claim will be entertained for additional lead and lifts.

Successful Bidder should submit the Construction program along with PERT Chart at the time of Execution of Agreement & should adhere to the accepted program submitted by him under any circumstances without linking to the pending payment of the work

Sub leasing/sub contracting in any form are prohibited. Bids of bidders with track record of Sub Leasing /subcontracting are liable for rejection.

Typographical errors if any will not be the ground for any claims by the contractor

In the case of the death of the contractor after executing the agreement / commencement of the work, his legal heir, if is an eligible registered contractor and is willing can execute and compete the work at the accepted tender rates irrespective of the cost of the work.

If CNNL wishes to engage third party/Project Management consultants for quality control assessment, apart from the CNNL quality control and field tests, the contractor should co-Operate with both Quality control authorities and the third party/Project Management consultants.

Idle charges for men & machineries for non-progress period delayed due to any reasons will not be paid.

Useful rubble and stone chips obtained from excavation shall be issued to the contractor for use on works at the rates specified for these materials in the Schedule of Rates current at the time of issue.

The work should be executed as per the guidelines of respective IS/IRC or other relevant codes being in force & as per the directions of Engineer in charge.

Bidder should be registered both KPWD & Electrical license Contractor in the required class

Contractor should get borewell geophysical investigation report from department of mines and geology.

In case of Borewell failure, the failed borewell should be properly closed and sealed in accordance with the prescribed technical specification and safety guide lines

In case of Borewell failure remaining material will be added to the Department savings account
