The prospective Bidder should be a class-III and above electrical contractor and have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor at least one similar work of supply and installation of electrical fixtures and lighting systems of value not less than Rs.8.07lakhs in any reputed Industry/PSU/Government organization in the preceding five years (i.e.2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26). In proof of this, the bidder should submit work done certificate and corresponding work order issued by competent authority (in case of state/central Government/Government under taking from officers not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent cadre and in case of KPCL not below the rank of Chief Engineer) with reference to the previous similar work done by the contractor. (A weightage of 10% per year is applicable to previous work/purchase orders to bring the current price level of 2025-26).
The bidder in his name, should have in the last five years (i.e., 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25 & 2025-26) achieved in at least two financial years an average annual financial turnover of Rs.16.14 Lakhs. In proof of this Turnover Certificate duly certified by Charted Accountant shall be furnished. (A weightage of 10% per year is applicable to previous annual turnover to bring the current price level of 2025-26).
Those bidders whose contracts have been terminated / fore-closed by KPCL/who has not duly followed contract agreement /statutory requirements in the running contract of KPCL or whose performance has not been satisfactory while executing the contract of the above within last five years are not eligible to participate in the bid. The bidder shall furnish an undertaking in this regard (Annexure-V).
