Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of silent Diesel Engine driven generating set QSB4.5 Series 82.5 KVA , standard size, 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire, 1500 rpm, 50 Hz power supply with power factor 0.8(lagging) couple directly to alternator mounted on a common base plate complete wiyh integral acoustic enclosure having silent features such as modular bolted construction with fabrication on imported CNC torret punch machines, nine tank treatment process with pure polyster based powder coating to ensure long life in all weather conditions and for out door application/ installation, integrated design thereby facilitating /easy handling installation & shifting of the equipment at site. The design of integral acoustic enclosure should be any type approved by national Physical laboratory as per Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB-IV+) latest norms/regulation Noise level 75dB(A) at a distance of one meter with fuel tank, battery and standard accessories as recommended by manufacturer, vibration pad, sand cushioning around PCC foundation, tools and spares, as provided by manufacturer all as specified and as directed0 with following :- (i) The capacity of generator set shall be net after all due derating factor as per relevant ISI design. .

(A) Alternator : Standard design alternator rated at 82.5 KVA net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3-Phase 4-wire 415 volts 50 Hz , 1500 RPM self exicited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with winding in pole faces, insulating class ‘H’ and voltage regulation of + 1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be confirming to BS2613/5000 and shall be in position to generate supply with frequency regulation with in + 1% tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for tropical tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for tropical condition:- (i) Insulation class – H (ii) Temperature rise class – ‘H’ (iii) Excitation : Self excited (iv) Regulation performance : The voltage is kept constant with ± 1%, manual voltage adjustment within ± 5% . (B) DIESEL ENGINE : Adequate capacity of diesel engine Liquid Cooled to drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditions after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories, directly coupled through flexible coupling, multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, 1500 RPM, as per relevant ISI/BS – 5514 with an over load capacity of 10% for one hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard (i) Fly wheel with housing (ii) Cooling system : Mounted radiator with fan & belts. (iii) Cooling water pump : Centrifugal type belt driven. contd to Srl Item No (iv)

(iv) Exhaust System : Exhaust system complete with exhaust piping of 150/200 mm dia or as per OEM with MS pipe light grade upto and away (as per CPCB norm) from the enclosure to be erected, covered with asbestos rope and aluminium foil of 28 SWG complete with in the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclosure. (E) GENERATOR MONITORING PANEL : Comprising of following :- (a) Microprocessor based genset controller (Power Command) for metering, monitoring, governing and (b) Engine protection for low lub oil pressure, high coolant temperature (alarm & shutdown) (c) Alternator protection parameters like under voltage, over current, under frequency, over (d) Relay driven for remote annunciations (e) Alternator trim adjustment from the front key pad (f) Operates within a temperature range 0-60 degrees and humidity upto 95% (g) Genset metering parameters like lube oil pressure, coolant temperature, engine speed (RPM), run hours, DC voltage, intake manifold temperature, 3 phase volts and 3 phase amperes, frequency, KW, KVA power factor etc. contd to Srl Item No (i)

(i) Safety Controls : Engine low lube oil pressure, high water temperature and over speeding of engine (ii) Coupling arrangement : Flexible coupling, fly wheel to suit flexible coupling fly wheel housing. (iii) Accessories : AVM pads built or separately mounted to manufacturer base frame (iv) Base Frame : Made out of ISMC 250 of study design made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement and predetermined holes. (F) FUEL TANK : Daily service fuel tank of suitable capacity as per manufacturers instruction to store 12 hrs running fuel DG Set, made out of 3 mm thick HR sheet top and bottom with calibrated level indicating arrangement, stop cock, drain plug, fuel pump of suitable capacity complete on a common base within the Acoustic Enclosure. contd to Srl Item No (G)

(H) Acoustic enclosure : Enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in sheet steel. (i) Custom built product for various equipments, with ensure the optimum performance without duration. (ii) Rugged in construction maintenance free and modular designs which facilitate easy at site. (iii) 16 SWG (1.6 mm) Thick CRCA sheets to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS:8183 for maximum sound absorption. (iv) Sheet metal components of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against wreathing action. (v) Special paint treatment with pure polyester powder epoxy to be provided for better weather resistance. contd to Srl Item No (vi)

(vi) Well designed ventilation system to be provided to pump up the heat in the chamber efficiently. (vii) For efficient acoustic / weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gasket to used. (viii) Working space is to be provided around the equipment for easy maintenance / repair (ix) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exist of fuel lines cable to be incorporated in the enclosure as per the requirement. (x) A see through transparent window (glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel to provided for monitoring the operation. (xi) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinges fasteners etc to be provided. contd to Srl Item No (xii)

(xii) Deliverables, 75 DBA @ 1 mtr at 75% load under free field conditions. The temp inside the enclosure will be within 7 Degree above ambient temp. (xiii) The enclosure should be provided with bulk head light fittings for inside illumination. (xiv) The batteries should be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG set on a suitable insulated plateform. (xv) The DG set should be provided with external emergency stop push button (xvi) The acoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treatment process. The powder coating shade should be Genset Green. The base frame should be painted with epoxy based black shade. (J)The following items are deemed to be included in the rate quoted for all DG sets :- Civil Works :- All civil work including PCC plate form and related to foundations including of panel and equipments including making good and existing structure of disturbed during installation and commissioning of genset. The foundation of DG et plate form designed should be approved by OEM/manufacturer.

Dismantling of old unservicable bus bar chamber and Design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of outdoor type LT Bus Bar Chamber box, platform mounted, suitable for 3 phase 4 wire, 415 volts AC supply and having 4 Nos stepped type Aluminium bus bars (32mm x 5mm) for looping & branch connection system .The chamber shall be painted with powder coated paint (Shade : RAL-7032) after 7 tank pre-treatment of surfaces. The bus bar chamber shall be provided with suitable Neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof and degree of protection not less than IP-55 and general construction conforming to IS : 13947.The bus bar chamber shall be made out of 3.00mm thick CRCA mild steel sheet and 3.00mm thick gland plate , front door (01 layer) and rear Door (01 layer) opening facility and 4 side slanting canopy type roof on top and mild steel channel (75 MC) base frame at bottom. The bus bar chamber shall be provided with ventilation facility in the form of louvers for better heat dissipation. (Note : The bus bar chamber Box shall be designed in such a way that adequate workable space is made available inside the compartments and the size of the chamber shall not be less than 500mm height (without base frame & canopy), 500mm width and 450mm depth).

M & L for Earthing, in replacement, complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60 cmx 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 mtr deep below normal ground level connecting to and including GI steel strip of size 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts, and washers of galvanized iron or steel including 40 mm dia medium grade pipe for protection of GI strip to the extent of 7.5 mtrs as earthing lead including charcoal dust and salt packed all around the earth plate in the earth pit all as per Electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part - I (2009) including PCC foundation/chamber in mix 1:2:4 type B1(using 20mm graded stone aggregate) with angle iron frame CI frame, CI cover with provision of locking arrangement and 20 mm dia light grade GI pipe from top edge of the earth plate upto MS funnel with wire mesh provided inside the concrete earth pit for watering arrangement complete including excavation and earthwork in any type of strata and testing complete including fill up the earth pit with soil for best result and removal ( for LT Panels). Note :- Earth protection pipe & earthing strip upto and including 7.5 m length is deemed included in unit rate quoted by the contractor.

M&L for Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating (AZ -150) GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm of an colour having tensile strength of 550Mpa as in roof covering/cladding/ ridge to wall,valley gutter fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for MS flat iron work conforming to Fe-290, Gde E-165, as in wind ties for roof including securing bolts, drilling holes, notching for wire etc complete all as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primere complete all as specified.
