WBM Grading 3 By Manual Means with stone screenigs By Mechanical Means Providing, laying, spreading in uniform thickness & compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes for WBM 3 including, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, stone screening/binding materials watering & compacting as per Technical Specification Clause 405.
Soil Stabilisation-Stabilization of in-situ (existing pavement crust) or soil or otherwise sub-base course upto the required depth by cold in-situ recycling using chemical additives/otherwise: Providing pulverizing,spreading,milling and mixing of chemical additives at the rate of minimum 750 ml/cum require quantity as per job mix design in accordance with IRC37-2012.Cementitious additive @ rate of minimum 4% should be spread on the existing pavement using a mobile truck mounted containerized cement/additive spreader with microprocessor controlled weighing and spreading system.The additive spreader shall have variable working width sufficient to cover whole pavement lane.The in-situ stabilization process shall be carried out by a mobile and self propelled stabilizer / reclaimer of working width of 2.4 mt and with minimum engine horse power of 440 kw with a variable working depth of minimum 50 cm.The resultant stabilised mix then would be profiled to the required grade ,level and thickness using motor grader and the mix would be compacted using 20 tonne pad foot roller in combination with smooth whell roller to achieve desired proctor density as per IRC37-2012 and complete in all respects and curing with water as required including all materials ,labor and machinery etc. The entire In-situ process would be carried out in single pass with milling and pulverzing of damaged asphalt pavement/soil/aggregates/soil-aggregate mixture to the desired depth and with simultaneous addition of additives and water with machine integrated spray bars fitted on the wheeled self-propelled and vibratory pad foot roller to achieve desired proctor density in all respects. Necessary graded stone aggregates shall be added to achieve desired profile of the road. The minimum unconfined compresssive strength (UCS) of stabilized sub base should be 4.5 to 7 MPa after 7 / 28 days curing as per IRC37-2012 .Also ,durability aspects (wet-dry cycles) of stabilized sub base should be satisfied as per IRC37-2012 .The gradation mixes and magterials should be as per IRC37-2012.
Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70- 1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Specification Clause 502.
Providing and laying a Stress Absorbing Membrane Interlayer (SAMI) / bitumen impregnated geotextile layer after cleaning the road surface, geotextile conforming to requirements of clause 703.3, laid over a tack coat with 1.05 kg per sqm of paving grade bitumen 80 - 100 penetration / emulsion as per requirement and as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Providing & applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification 503.
Construction of penetration macadam over prepared base by providing a layer of compacted crushed coarse aggregate using chips spreader with alternate applications of bituminous binder and key aggregates and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification 506. ; 50 mm thick with Bitumen (S-65)
Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.20 to 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance ncluding stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer.
Informatory sign board (Citizen's Information Board as per Drawing) MMGSY / PMGSY Citizen' s information Board- Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY Retro Reflective information board as per as per section1700 of MORD specifications and latest PMGSY Signage Manual / Circuler and drawing.Two ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel) sheets of 4 mm thick, of 900 mm x 750mm size fixed at top & bottom duly rivetted with MS angles of 35 x 35 x 5 mm thick M.S angle shall be welded by two vertical M.S angle of 5 mm thick to 75 mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG square tubes / 75mm Dia Pipe posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-20 grade blocks of 600mm x 600mm x 75mm, below ground level. MMGSY / PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circuler no. NRRDA-P013(11)/3/2019-Dir (Tech) dated 02.12.2019). Printing PMGSY Logo/MMGSY Logo/Project description on Class A or Class B type retro reflective sheeting using modern technology printing platform. The printer shall be approved by the retro reflective sheeting manufacturer and printed sign shall conform to retro reflective values as laid down in IRC 67-2012. The inks used for printing shall be eco friendly with VOC emissions complying to UL 2801 standards and specifications for the different kinds of platforms. The printed sign shall be laminated by UV protected laminate and shall carry a warranty of 5 years & 7 years for Class A and Class B sheeting respectively for traffic colors. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paints as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 (10.16). The design, painting and lettering shall be done as per the PMGSY Signage Guidelines Fig.3 and Fig.4 and as directed by Engineer-In-charge. . A warranty for 5 / 7 years for the Retro reflective sheeting for Class-A and Class-B respectively, from original manufacturer shall be submitted by contractor.Retro Reflective Class-A Sheeting
Providing & Fixing Informatory Board with Logo of MMGSY (Every 5 KM) Providing and fixing Retro Reflective MMGSY / PMGSY LOGO informatory sign board with Logo as per section1700 of MORD specifications and latest PMGSY Signage Manual / Circuler and drawing. The board will be a composite unit consisting of Two Plates of ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel), material specifications as per clause 17001.3. The top most plate will be of 3mm ACP in diamond shape of 600x600mm size, riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size on back on edges. The Lower plate will be of 4mm ACP of 1100x300mm size riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size on back on edges. Riveting of all the sheets over angle and flat iron frame will be done neatly to have plain surface on one side. The angle iron frame of Both the plates will be welded to a 75mm x75mmx 12swg Mild steel post at / Tube Centre and this post will be embeded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 450x450x600mm below ground level. The height of the bottom of the lower plate will be 1200mm from normal ground level. The spacing between the diamond shaped plate and Lower Plate is kept 150mm. MMGSY / PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circuler no. Providing and Fixing 'MMGSY LOGO Board' at Every 2 Km Providing and Fixing of Retro Reflectorised 900mm Cautionary sign boards made out of retro reflective sheeting of High Intensity prismatic grade conforming to IRC-67: 2012 & Type IV standards of ASTM D4956-09 specifications, fixed over 4mm thick ACP sheet supported with Back support frame of 25x25x3mm mild steel angle as approved , supported on a mild steel angle iron post 65 mm X 65 mm X 6 mm - 3.5 mtr height, firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M20 grade cement concrete 45 cm X 45 cm X 60 cm , 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing. Both border & background shall be retro reflective as per Type IV standards. 7 years Warranty for Retro Reflective Sheeting from the original sheeting manufacturer & a certified copy of three years outdoor exposure report from an independent test lab for the product offered shall be submitted by the contractor(Bottom of the board shall be at least 2.6 mtr. above ground level) Specification: IRC 67:2012. There shall be a stamp behind the ACP sheet carrying the name of the supplier, Name of sheeting Manufacturer, Type of retro reflective sheeting, Installation month & year, Warranty period for retro reflective sheeting.

Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Soil Stabilisation-Stabilization of in-situ (existing pavement crust) or soil or otherwise sub-base course upto the required depth by cold in-situ recycling using chemical additives/otherwise: Providing pulverizing,spreading,milling and mixing of chemical additives at the rate of minimum 750 ml/cum require quantity as per job mix design in accordance with IRC37-2012.Cementitious additive @ rate of minimum 4% should be spread on the existing pavement using a mobile truck mounted containerized cement/additive spreader with microprocessor controlled weighing and spreading system.The additive spreader shall have variable working width sufficient to cover whole pavement lane.The in-situ stabilization process shall be carried out by a mobile and self propelled stabilizer / reclaimer of working width of 2.4 mt and with minimum engine horse power of 440 kw with a variable working depth of minimum 50 cm.The resultant stabilised mix then would be profiled to the required grade ,level and thickness using motor grader and the mix would be compacted using 20 tonne pad foot roller in combination with smooth whell roller to achieve desired proctor density as per IRC37-2012 and complete in all respects and curing with water as required including all materials ,labor and machinery etc. The entire In-situ process would be carried out in single pass with milling and pulverzing of damaged asphalt pavement/soil/aggregates/soil-aggregate mixture to the desired depth and with simultaneous addition of additives and water with machine integrated spray bars fitted on the wheeled self-propelled and vibratory pad foot roller to achieve desired proctor density in all respects. Necessary graded stone aggregates shall be added to achieve desired profile of the road. The minimum unconfined compresssive strength (UCS) of stabilized sub base should be 4.5 to 7 MPa after 7 / 28 days curing as per IRC37-2012 .Also ,durability aspects (wet-dry cycles) of stabilized sub base should be satisfied as per IRC37-2012 .The gradation mixes and magterials should be as per IRC37-2012.

Soil Stabilisation-Stabilization of in-situ (existing pavement crust) or soil or otherwise sub-base course upto the required depth by cold in-situ recycling using chemical additives/otherwise: Providing pulverizing,spreading,milling and mixing of chemical additives at the rate of minimum 750 ml/cum require quantity as per job mix design in accordance with IRC37-2012.Cementitious additive @ rate of minimum 4% should be spread on the existing pavement using a mobile truck mounted containerized cement/additive spreader with microprocessor controlled weighing and spreading system.The additive spreader shall have variable working width sufficient to cover whole pavement lane.The in-situ stabilization process shall be carried out by a mobile and self propelled stabilizer / reclaimer of working width of 2.4 mt and with minimum engine horse power of 440 kw with a variable working depth of minimum 50 cm.The resultant stabilised mix then would be profiled to the required grade ,level and thickness using motor grader and the mix would be compacted using 20 tonne pad foot roller in combination with smooth whell roller to achieve desired proctor density as per IRC37-2012 and complete in all respects and curing with water as required including all materials ,labor and machinery etc. The entire In-situ process would be carried out in single pass with milling and pulverzing of damaged asphalt pavement/soil/aggregates/soil-aggregate mixture to the desired depth and with simultaneous addition of additives and water with machine integrated spray bars fitted on the wheeled self-propelled and vibratory pad foot roller to achieve desired proctor density in all respects. Necessary graded stone aggregates shall be added to achieve desired profile of the road. The minimum unconfined compresssive strength (UCS) of stabilized sub base should be 4.5 to 7 MPa after 7 / 28 days curing as per IRC37-2012 .Also ,durability aspects (wet-dry cycles) of stabilized sub base should be satisfied as per IRC37-2012 .The gradation mixes and magterials should be as per IRC37-2012.

Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg.
