M & L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.0 mm buried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to galvanized iron strip 25 x 4 mm as earthing lead by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth wire protected by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) connected to machinery/ equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering funnel wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, reinforced with 6 mm dia MS round bars @ 15 cm c/c both way for cover and MS frame etc., complete all as specified. NOTE: (i) The unit rate includes earth wire and protection pipe up to (maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate) earth point/test point. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed at least 0.5 metre away from each earth chamber.

Material & labour for fixing of Earth continuity conductor Aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground ,with nut bolts at joints , fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles,equipments or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, Aluminium strip fixed on with epoxy insulator of suitable size including taking down old strip all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for fixing of Earth continuity conductor GI strip 25 x 4 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground ,with nut bolts at joints , fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles,equipments or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, GI strip fixed on with epoxy insulator of suitable size including taking down old strip all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing Air termination, single pointed, aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for boring of holes under road, pavement hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of size 90 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure.

Cutting chases, pinning in, making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 for concealing protective piping in floors/walls and making good.

Earth work excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth getting out in hard/dense soil and for laying of under ground cable and foundation of poles.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming etc in layers not exceeding 25cm each in hard/dense soil.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point

M & L for sub main wiring complete with two runs of 4 Sqmm single core FRLS grade PVC insulated unsheathed cable 1100Volt grade multistranded copper conductor drawn through and including PVC conduit and accessories in surface of wall, roofs etc with one run of PVC insulated copper conductor 4 Sqmm single core as earth continuity conductor connected with earth dolly and mains complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of old unserviceable LT panel board and Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of indoor type cubicle panel board suitable for 3 phase 4 wire 415 V, 50 Hz and tested at CPRI for 415 volts factory fabricated in an approved factory having modern fabrication process powder coating in approved shared having thickness not less than 100 microns provided with suitable gasket to make it dust/vermin proof and general construction confirming to IS : 8623/93 comprising. The outer shell shall be made out of 3 mm thick CRCA sheet and MS angle section 40x40x6 mm base frame factory fabricated with front openable, double door system lockable/openable. The bottom of the outer shell contains a detachable plate having size with glands. The outer shell shall be mounted on stand having zine coating not less than 80 microns. Provision of threaded earthing stud at bottom and lifting lugs of suitable size at top to lift the panel safely shall be made. The degree of protection of outer shell shall be IP - 56. Inner shell shall be made out of 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet duly compartmentalized for each control gear, TPN aluminum bus bar of rating not less than the 1.5 times the rated capacity of the incomer MCCB.
