M & L for removing excavated soils n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for Fine and dry sand cushioning for underground cable by providing a layers of sand 8cm deep before laying and 15cm deep after laying the cable including tretching the cable, complete all as specified and as directed . Note - Punned thickness of sand layer shall be measured and paid to contractor.

Material and labour for Sub class ‘B brick, old size, brick covering laid dry, flat, transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning, with width equal to the length of the brick, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for hardcore of broken stone or boulders gauge n exc. 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100mm thick cement concrete type D-2 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded aggregate),as in sub base of flooring including finished surfaces even and fair, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 100mm thick cement concrete type B-1 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded aggregate), as in flooring including Spike rolling to surfaces or making impressions of expanded metal.whilst the concrete is green, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Forming 12 mm thick expansion joints filled with preformed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade `A’, Thickness of concrete slab in 100mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old black top road surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a bituminous tack coat of GRADE VG-10 @ of 5 Kg per 10 sqm of road surface ,complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for Preparation of bituminous Macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly priming /tack coat with paving bitumen (Grade VG-10) at the rate of 3 Kgs /10 Sqm on prepared surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for laying bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm (consolidated thickness) using with 5.5% of binder (grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using mechanical paver and rolled with 8-12 tonne capacity power road roller rolled to uniform smooth surface ,complete all as specified and as directed. Note- (i) Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete shall prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from laboratory as decided by GE.

Material and Labour for premixed bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75mm or less ) laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber and gradiant using mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to12 Tonne capacity power road roller to uniform smooth surface using binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 complete all as specified and as directed Note- (i) Bituminous macadam shall prepared in central computerised hot mix plant. complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Design mix shall be got done by the contractor at his own expenses from laboratory as decided by GE.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m and putting in premixed bituminous macadam 30mm thick, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exc 30 mm rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed.
