C/O RCC Sump well/Tank:- Designing, Constructing, Testing & Commissioning (to be approved by the competent authority) RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in foundation in all kinds of soil. including PCC (1:3:6) in foundation and M:30 design mix in bottom slab/raft ,walls and beams. and RCC M-25 (design Mix) in roof slab/dome with provision of inspection path around the dome with all alied Civil Works such as c/o chamber for valves, refilling and disposing of surplus excavated earth with in all leads and lifts. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside, CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers with frames of heavy duty with proper locking arrangement, water level indicator. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness, All works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves shall be included in the rates of tanks .complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge .The contractor shall provide 5 sets of approved drawing with design to the department.( Refer Data sheet No. 5 & 6 for further detail )

Excavation in foundations,trenches etc., in earth work, lift upto all height Stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 mts. Clear from the edge of the excavation & then returning the stacked soil in 15 cms. Layers,when required into plinths sides of foundation etc.,consolidating each deposited layers by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as dierected within all leads & lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8(1cement:4sand:8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding the cost of form work in foundation and plinth complete in all respect as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing form work with steel plate 3.15mm thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5mm so as to give a fair finish including centring , shuttering, strutting, and propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 meter and removal of the same for insitu-reinforced concrete and plain concrete work in:-
Vertical surfaces such as walls (any thickness) partitions and the like including attached pilasters buttresses, plinth and string courses and the like complete in all respect as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:5:10 (1 cement :5 sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) with 15% Plum and curing complete excluding cost of form work in retainin walls/breast walls, the size of plums shall usually by 150mm to 300mm as per HPPWD specification as per direction and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in foundation and trenches for pipes & pits upto all depths etc.in all kinds of soils such as pick work,jumper work,blasting work in soft and hard rocks,chiselling work/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited and saturated soils,stacking the excavated earth with in all leads and lifts clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm layers,when req.into plinths sides of foundations and trenches etc., consolidating of all surplus excavated earth as directed by the Engineer in charge with in all lead and lifts including uprooting of trees, dressing of bed and sides and preparation of sub- grade including shoring,sturtting,timbering and dewatering where ever is required, providing diversion for traffic,fixing night signals caution board crossing over trenches for acess to houses and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.
Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of galvanized mild steel electrically resistance welded bevelled edge flanged/Butt welded pipe conforming to IS/ISO 1239-1990, IS/ISO:3183-2007 of below mentioned L-290 grades in item as per dimensions, weight and test pressure mentioned therein code (mill tolerances to be restricted within+- 3%) in random lengths of 6 to 7 mtrs including the cost of fabrication of bends by butt welding from parent tube as required at site. Only 5% joints shall be flanged joint and remaining shall be welded joints and welding of pipes will be down as per IS:816-1969 with electrodes as per IS:814-1991 of make Advani/Orelon (Adore)/ESAB. The laying & jointing of pipes should conform to IS:5822-1994 (earth work in trenches, flanged joint and butt welded joints except in bends to be measured and paid for saperately) The pipes and specials shall have out side wrapping with galvanized as per BIS-4736, the galvanization is done by the manufacturing firm itself complete in all respect.

WATER DISINEFECTION ATMBR BAGWARA MOR : Supply, installation commissioning and testing of Gaseous Chlorination Plant at MSB. Vacuum operated pressure feed gaseous chlorinator of Chloromax/Capco/Capital makes for Chlorination of water by direct feeding to water main consisting of the following :- Chlorinator capable to deliver 0-1000 gm/hr of chlorine gas comprising of spring opposed inlet valve, valve, now meter remote ejector assembly with built in check valve, vacuume tubing, vent tubing and injection assembly. ( Refer Data sheet No.12 for further detail)
AUTOMATION OF ENTIRE SYSTEM: The tenderer/firm shall provide proposal for automation of entire scheme upto junction points of all storage tanks and shall be automated in such a way that these are automattically operated at pre fixed hours/ time or any other logic decided by the department and operated from main SCADA centre at main Pump house. The entire automation is to be carried out as per the technical data sheets for Electrical, Instrumentation and automation works in accordance with the technical specifications for automation Electromagnetic flow meters of approved makes shall be provided at each storage reservoir outlets and its output in the shape of total quantum of water delivered in a hour day and month shall be generated at main control station. GSM based devices shall be installed at each tank location, which shall send massages through SCADA station at remote access location at main pump house. This data transmission system at each tank consists of field instruments for providing digital and analog signals to data transfer module. This module will have a communication to web data transfer system model communication. The PLC station will have control station with programmable graphic process, mimics, real time and historical trending face plate and group display, alarm management and report with Laser Jet printers and required furniture. At each tank locations controlling devices shall be installed with water meter sensors, flow transmitters, level transmitters in each tank. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. The detailed automation proposal shall be got approved by the firm from PMU Shimla . Firm has to incorporate all the inputs and outputs suggested by the department in the SCADA. To automised the entire scheme up to junction points of all storage tanks (Decision for finalisation of proposal lies with the department without assigning any reason)as per relevent data sheet and scope of work. ( Refer Data sheet No.13 for further detail)
PUMPING MACHINERY
Supplying, installation, testing & commissioning of suitable submersible clear water pump sets at Ist stage of approved prefered make data sheet No. 16 make comprising to latest relevant BIS Code. The material of construction of Pump and Impellers will be as per suitable for clear water with 500 PPM turbidity having water lubricated bearing bush and stainless steel shaft with stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP, RPM 2900 approved data sheet No. 16 make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with up to date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duly isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated to with stand long vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump should include water level guards, erection clamps, cable clips and depth gauge with upto date amendments. It should include cost of bearing nuts bolts and painting etc. The pumping machinery shall be installed and anchored properly. All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bush bar chamber, MCB, Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type , incoming and outgoing water proof cable for panel board, Double loop earthing, copper cable pressure gauge, capacitor, common header, sluice valve, NRV including erection and testing complete involving all wear and tear at the time of erection and testing The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction to the Engineer-in – Charge. The rates shall be for complete Job to run the machinery in proper working. and should meet with the requirements. (Ist stage) For detailed design parameters/ requirements are given in (Ref data sheet No. 14 for further details.) Booster stage at Kheri :- 4 sets x 20 HP = 80 HP (2 working & 2 standbye) of discharge 23.62 LPS with total Head 30.66 m.
Supply Installation Testing & Commissioning horizontal spindle, horizontal/ radial split casing/end suctions (back pull out arrangement) single/double/multistage centrifugal pump suitable for operation, in parallel of recommended make approved by IPH Deptt. Data sheet No. 16 as per BIS-1520-1980 with upto date ammendments, read with IS:9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting clear water as per manufacturers norms coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a Common MS base plate to squirrel cage screen protected drip proof induction motor of standard make as approved by IPH Deptt. as per Data sheet No. 16 and suitable for operation on 415 Volts, 50 cycles/second 3 phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor/motors should be at least (+) 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. The motor/motors should be as per IS: 325-1978 with upto date amendments read with IS:900-1972. The starting current of the motor shall be limited to not more than 4.5 to 5 times of full load current. it should include cost of bearing nuts, bolts and painting etc and should meet the following requirement (as per data sheet No. 13) including Pump sets (working + standby), All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bush bar chamber, MCB, Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type , incoming and outgoing water proof cable for panel board, Double loop earthing, copper cable pressure gauge, capacitor, common header, sluice valve, NRV including erection and testing complete necessary piping for suction and common header and control valves alongwith electrical works including all taxes, insurance, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including specials and wastage etc.; complete as per Tender Specifications and instruction of Engineer in charge. (Ref data sheet No.15 for further details.)
1st stage at Kheri - 6 sets x170 = 1020 HP (4 working & 2 standbye) of discharge 11.81 LPS and total Head 586.44 m.
2nd stage at Matlana - 3 sets x110 = 330 HP (2 working & 1 standbye) of discharge 23.62 LPS and total Head 193.46 m.
