SPECIAL REPAIR TO EARTHING INFRASTRUCTURE AT AF STATION SONEGAON, NAGPUR

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cmx6 mm thick, buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5m below ground level , connected to GI strips of size 25 x 4 mm as earthling lead by means bolts and nuts check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and connected to main switch board including watering arrangement with PCC chamber , MS funnel, wire mesh. CI cover with frame etc including necessary excavation in any type of strata , returning, filling removal of soil outside MD land ,filling of charcoal and salt complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of MES Sch Part I , connected to Earthing test point all as specified and directed on testing on completion. Note : On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to the Government.

All as per Item No 01 here in before , but 32X6 mm Galvanised iron strip complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Item No 01 here in before , but using copper plate 60X60X3.15mm thick electrode & 20X3mm copper strip as earthing lead complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthing with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600 x 600 mm & 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal GL) with top of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below GL connected to GI earth lead wire 4 mm dia connected to earth plate electrode by means of GI nuts, bolts & washers earth wire protected with & including 15 mm dia medium grade ISI marked GI pipe not less than 7.5 metre long all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 MES Schedule Part 1, with & including ; PCC 1:3:6 type B1 reinforced with welded steel wire fabric not less than 4 Kg per Sq M, watering arrangements with 20 mm GI medium grade pipe ISI marked , GI funnel with GI mesh, filling with mixture of common salt & charcoal, necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, including test point, testing & commissioning, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to the Government. GI earth wire with GI pipe protection beyond 7.5 metre measured & paid separately

S &F Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or in existing drain after taking out RCC/PCC cover block or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc.as required 32X6 mm galvanised iron strip connected to Earthing test point all as specified and directed on testing on completion. Note-:The strips are to be bent to shape, drilled with holes, connected with bolts, nuts, washers complete.

All as per Item No 05 here in before , but 25X4 mm Galvanised iron strip complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L chemical earthing with copper earth plate electorde 900 mm x600 mm x5 mm thick burried directly in earth pit not less than 4.7 m below normal ground level and complete size of pit 1.6 m x 1.6 m x 5 m, earth plate connected to copper earth strip of 32 mm x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of brass/copper duly brazed earth strip protected with 40 mm bore light grade GI pipe from electrode and upto and including the earth test point of gun metal/phosphorus bronze of size 75x 75 x 25 mm, 15 mm bore watering pipe medium grade GI pipe including funnel, wire mesh, providing alternate layers of thickness 10 cm each of charcoal, common salt and layers of thickness 10 cm each of Magnesium Sulphate including necessary excavation, returning in, filling, removal of surplus soil to distance not exceeding 50m, PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, RCC cover 40 mm reinforcement with 8 mm dia TMT bar @ 75mm centre to centre both ways lifting handle 2 Nos of 12 mm dia MS round bar on both sides to be placed on and including MS angle iron frame 40 x 40x 5 mm complete all as directed by Engineer-in Charge.

M & L for Copper earth strip of size 32 x 6 mm dia as earth continuity conductor as main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recessess as chases or burried in ground or drawn in pipe fixed to pole or any other indicated situation complete all as specified & directed

Renewal of existing earthing (GI/copper /chemical earthing) with provision of new layers of charcoal and salt all as specified in electrical plate No 5 of SSR Part-I, including cleaning of existing GI/copper earth plate, conductors etc., connecting with new bolts, nuts and washers complete including testing of earthing by digital Earth Ground Resistance Tester & Record submitted to Dept on completion all as directed. Note: -1. Excavation,Returning filling & demolition of PCC Near earth pit , Charcoal, Salt , GI pipe and funnel shall be measured and paid seperately.

Supply only funnel made out of GI / mild steel sheet 3mm thick in conical shape, dia of the funnel at bottom is 15mm and at top is 75mm, placed on GI pipe for watering the earth including taking out existing funnel complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The funnel shall be either welded properly to the watering pipe or bolted with bolts and nuts.

Supply only galvanised steel tubing 20mm bore light grade with all fittings in earthing for watering the earth including taking down of old steel tubing complete all as specified and as directed

Supply only common salt commercial as in repair for above item no 11 in the the process of renewal of existing earthing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Charcoal dust/Breeze in repair for above item no 11 in the the process of renewal of existing earthing complete all as specified and as directed

Supply only earthing chemicals in repair for above item no 11 in the the process of renewal of existing earthing complete all as specified and as directed

M & L for providing cement concrete For Earthing pit filling and mass concrete, Type C2- 1:3:6 with 40 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

Rough excavation not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil at the place of existing earthing/water pipe line all as directed and specified.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed.

M&L synthetic enamel paint of yellow/red colour for Earthing pit including pit cover complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Precast cement concrete Type B1- 1:2:4 with 20 mm graded stone aggregate set in CM 1:4 for Earthing pit Cover complete all as specified and directed.
