Earth work excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth, Kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw upto 2 metres, and an average vertical lift upto 0.5 metre including breaking of clods (HSR 6.2 (b) and recompact the same including laying dressing, watering & rolling as per HSR 6.2 g-I, g-II and g-v.
Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift, but including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -9. Note:-No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.
Construction of embankment, shoulders and sub grade in completion of formation width of 7.32 Mtr. at RD 0.00 to 1.590 (in Road Id-1725)with soil of minimum CBR 8 % (4 days soaked) of obtained from borrow area with any lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by engineer with respect to GTS. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 3539.67 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 3539.67 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 3539.67 cum, then only 3539.67 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached section-9 of DNIT.Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC –SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.
Milling of distress bituminous layer upto 20mm depth in a single pass with suitable milling machine (capable of milling @ 200-300 sqm area per Hr.) fitted with loading conveyor for loading the milled material directly on the trucks i/c hauling and stock piling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant or reclaiming to bring to required specification to reuse with the approval of Engineer-in-Charge for safe disposal with all leads and lifts complete in all respects. Note I:- The unutilized quantity of reclaimed bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item.

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No. 503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (NS)
Providing & Laying 30mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Where there is only BC on existing black top (without doing DBM), cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work. 2. Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping to bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by the contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.
Pdg & laying 50mm BM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% of the required quantity, hauling and stockpiling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P., transporting and laying at site with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade and compacting to the required grade level and thickness with appropriate rollers all as specified in clause 519 (5th Rev7ision) of 2013 using bitumen VG-30. (minimum Bitumen's 3.40% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula ) Note: - 1. If bitumen required more than 3.40% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Job mix formula shall be approved by S.E incharge in writing before start of work.2. Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping to bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by the contractor. Providing and laying 80mm thick interlocking paver blocks ISI marked (IS code: 15658:2006) of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 as per IRC:SP:63-2004, over a bed of 30 mm thick fine sand complete in all respects. [HSR 10.159]
Manufacturing, supplying and laying of precast cement concrete rectangular block (0.45 M x 0.30 M x 0.15 M ) M-30 grade using minimum cement concrete 320 Kg/ per cum with digital batching plant duly compacted with table vibration including setting in position on end edging of interlocking paver blocks on both sides.
Providing and marking centre line / side line 2.5 mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint 10cms wide complete in all respects as furnishing all labour, materials, tools, equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site conforming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road & bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name, trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture, color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/ Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer – in – charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirements of the specifications. The reflector zing Glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause – 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause – 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS : 3262 (Part – 3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.
SIGN BOARDS:- providing and fixing of shoulder mounted sign boards of various sizes using non-metalic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV HIP specification fixed on 3 mm thick Aluminium Composite Panel, having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides supported on Mild Steel pipe leg post 80mm NB, 1.6 mm thick duly painted in alternative color of black and white embeded M-20 Grade concrete foundation of size 450mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, complete as per drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Providing and fixing reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 Kilometer stone of standard design, fixed in position, including finishing and including painting; (HSR 10.129 + 16.75 b )(ii) Kilometer stone on village roads
Providing & fixing reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4, 200 mtr. stone of standard design, fixed in position including finishing and excluding painting.
Pavement marker (Cat Eyes) molded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specification of category A of MORTH circular No.RW/NH/33023/ 10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2mm and height not less than 30 +/- 2mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacture's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as 3 M etc.)
Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing bituminous layer have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :-

Note: - All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.

Note: - The bidder is required to quote his rate for routine maintenance as defined in DNIT. The rates of routine maintenance as indicated in DNIT will be considered for financial evaluation and determining L-1 contractor irrespective of rates quoted by the contractor. If the rates quoted by the contractor differ from fixed rates, then it will not be considered and base rates as fixed in the DNIT will be considered. However, the total amount of L-1 will not be increased from the total amount quoted by the contractor and rebate to that extent shall have to be given by the contractor. Note: - If any discrepancy found in the unit/Nomenclature in the items of BOQ. The Nomenclature of HSR/MoRT&H shall be applicable.
