Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources: 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Extra for addition of synthetic Polyester triangular fibre of length 12mm, effective diameter 10-40 microns and specific gravity of 1.34 to 1.40 in cement concrete/RCC/Flooring/water retaining structures by using 125gms of synthetic Polyester triangular fibre for 50 Kg cement used as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for

Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete

Providing and filling in position bitumen mix filler of proportion 80 kg. of hot bitumen, 1 kg. of cement and 0.25 cubic metre of coarse sand for expansion joints.

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete.

Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earthwith lead upto 50 metres.

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG - 10, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications :

2.5 cm thick bitumastic sheet with hot bitumen of approved quality, using stone chippings (60% with 12.5 mm nominal size and 40% with 10 mm nominal size) @ 1.65 cum per 100 sqm and coarse sand @ 1.65 cum per 100 sqm of road surface and with bitumen @ 56 kg/cum of stone chippings and @ 128 kg/cum of sand over a tack coat with hot straight run bitumen, including consolidation with road roller of 8 to 10 tonne etc. complete. With paving Asphalt grade VG - 30

Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete as per specificatons and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Drum Type Hot Mix Plant of 60-90 TPH capacity.

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro- reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Providing and erecting metal beam Barrier comprising of 3mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail,70 cm above ground level fixed on vertical post of 150x75x5mm channel of height of 1.50mtr.At an interval of 2.00m centre to centre and in cement concrete 1:2:4 for a depth of 0.90m below ground/road level including earth work ,all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process ,all fittings to conform relavant specification ,metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150x75x5mm ,330mm long complete as per the direction of Engineer -in -charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specified sizes to WBM specifications in uniform thickness, hand picking, rolling with 3 wheeled road / vibratory roller 8-10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding material to fill up interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density .
