Dismantling of flexible pavements and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 50 metres as directed by Engineer. Bituminous courses

Providing, laying, spreading (with paver finisher only) and compacting wet mix macadam (WMM) base course comprising of graded stone aggregate and granular material conforming to MORT&H specifications (Table 400-II) in layers of equal compacted thickness each consolidated, including pre-mixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tippers to site, laying in uniform layers in base course on a well prepared sub-base/ base course and compacting with power vibratory-roller to achieve the desired density complete as per MoRT&H specification clause - 406 including all material, labour, machinery, lighting, guarding and maintenance of diversion.

Providing and applying primer coat over prepared surface of granular base with bitumen emulsion as per IS : 8887 and approved quality @ 0.6 kg/sqm with the help of spray set fitted on bitumen Container (boiler) after cleaning the surface including removing of binding material and other foreign matter with wire brushes and small picks, sweeping with brooms or soft brushes and finally dusting with old gunny bags and compressed air to receive bituminous treatment complete as per clause 502 of MoRT&H specification including all material, labour, machinery, lighting, guarding and maintenance of diversion.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam in 50/75 mm compacted thickness on prepared surface with specified graded crushed stone aggregates as per Table 500-4, Grading-II for base/ binding course, loading of aggregate with F.E. loader, heating and mixing of stone aggregate and bitumen in computerised hot mix plant, transported to site by tippers to paver, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher fitted with electronic sensing device to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with power roller and vibratory compactor as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction complete as per clause 504 of MoRT&H specification and including all material, labour, machinery, lighting, guarding and maintenance of diversion but excluding cost of primer/ tack coat. With Bitumen VG-grade 30 @ 3.3% (percentage by weight of total mix)

Providing and laying 20mm thick Mix Seal Surfacing on a prepared surface in a single course composed of specified graded crushed agggregates as per table (500-19) premixed with bituminus binder (including cost of anti-stripping compound, wherever required) with lead of mixed material up to 1 Km. [MoRTH Specification: Clause 508 & 112) in a hot mix plant 40-60 TPH with Front end loader, laying with paver finisher transporting the mixed material up to lead of 20 km by tipper and rolling with power loller 8-10 tonne to achieve density approved by the department with all lead, but excluding cost of track coat. Type "A" (22 Kg. binder per 10 Sqm) bitumen VG 30
