Cleaning of Manhole chambers and sewage lines of any size, ally depth each, mechanically, removing muck/ sludge/ silt/ mud, liquid etc under any position including foul condition and cleaning the inlet and outlet with water, with precautionary measures with high pressure jet machine with super sucker machine incl all tools and plants, machine operator and labour for complete day (i.e. 8 Hours), placing back the manhole cover in position and disposing off the sludge/debris out of MOD land, complete all as specified and directed. NOTES:- (1) The sludge/debris shall be disposed off in sealed containers or sludge removal tankers. Contractor is expected to consider this aspect while quoting his rates. No claim, whatsoever, shall be entertained on this account afterwards. (2) Mechanised cleaning vehicle, water jetting machine including fuel and operator, as and when ordered by the Engineer-in-Charge shall be provided by the contractor under his own arrangement. No extra claim shall be admissible during currency of work.

Cleaning of gully trap of any depth (not exceeding 0.50 metre each), by taking out accumulated garbage, silt, mud etc and removing the same at a distance not exceeding 50 metre (where directed), washing and well flushing of the gully trap with water complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note : Safety precaution should be followed when ever cleaned the manhole and one supervisor look after the work.

Cleaning of sewage line/ storm water line of 150 mm bore by mechanically using trolley mounted water jetting machine including dewatering, de-silting and well flushing the line with water and testing on completion complete as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.

Cleaning of sewage line/ storm water line of 200 mm bore by mechanically using trolley mounted water jetting machine including dewatering, de-silting and well flushing the line with water and testing on completion complete as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.

Cleaning of sewage line/ storm water line of 300 mm bore by mechanically using trolley mounted water jetting machine including dewatering, de-silting and well flushing the line with water and testing on completion complete as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.

Cleaning/de-silting of under ground sewage line / Strom water line of dia exceeding 300mm but n. exc 450 mm dia of pipe by mechanical van with necessary safety protection on main road from hoogly view to Khidderpur road Jn ( work in night only) and taking out soil waste sludge or foreign material from sewage line and flushing with adequate quantity of water for smooth functioning of sewage line including removal of sludge/debris from site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning of existing covered/un-covered drains of any section and depth removal of sludge, rubbish and other foreign material and flushing with adequate quantity of water and deposit the sludge to a distance not exc. 50m all as specified and directed. Note : Disposal of sludge obtained shall be disposed of in pit made by contractor and shall be covered with soil duly disinfected with adequate qty of bleaching powder. Quoted rate shall deemed to inclusive of the above aspect. No claim shall be entertained at a later stage. Covered drain remove and refixing of cover slab after clean refixed on drain.

Tree cutting from wall, roof of Buildings up to extended root complete including applying acid for stopping further growth from any location of Bldg up to any height of building and making good disturbed surfaces with cement mortar (1:4) or cement concrete type C-1(1:3:6) using 20mm graded aggregate including necessary scaffolding and safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of all debris/vegetation over roof surfaces of accessible or inaccessible roof portion upto any height and the mouth of rain water pipe and around the tanks area and removal of materials out side the MOD land including necessary scaffolding and safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of rain water/waste pipe of any dia by rodding or by bamboo splits including removing and refixing of eye cover in existing position etc. complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The contractor shall be depute two Nos unskilled sweeper for Zone-I & Zone-II area daily from 08:30 AM to 5.00 PM (ii) Disposal of sludge obtained shall be disposed of in pit made by contractor and shall be covered with soil duly disinfected the adequate qty of bleaching power. Providing and fixing double steel scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of shaft portion (only) of building of any height including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with minimum 40mm dia M.S. Tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre(maximum), horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. Tube challis, M.S. Clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of GE. Notes:- (1) The elevational area of shaft portion of building (length/breadth of shaft X height of shaft) covered with scaffolding shall only be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment shall be made for one time only for execution of all items of each face of shaft portion of building.
