| 1 | Material & Labour for the fault diagnosis of a distribution transformer up to1000 KVA by deployment of a qualified electrical team to perform the complete physical disconnection of all HT and LT cable terminations, including removal of the neutral and body earthing links to ensure total isolation for identify the fault with all necessary testing equipment and safety gear, specifically with a calibrated 5 kV digital megger, certified discharge rods for residual charge depletion, and personal protective equipment (PPE). The scope covers all consumables, such as lint-free cleaning cloths and contact cleaner (CRC) for bushing decontamination, followed by comprehensive insulation resistance (IR) testing between HV-LV, HV-Earth, and LV-Earth and to prepare detailed diagnostic report identifying the precise nature of the fault—such as winding insulation breakdown, moisture ingress, or internal short-circuiting for further course of action of department all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge. | 25 | Each Job | - | - |
| 2M&L for disconnecting all the electrical connections from H.T. and L.T. side of unserviceable transformer of followoing cap i.e. Jumpers/cable from the cable end box or bushings & earthing terminal of the transformers by removing the nuts bolts including taking down carefully of defective transformer from 2/4 pole structure/ platform mounted substation or AGE E/M store yard and transporting the same by loading, unloading of transformer & transportation by vehicle to workshop and opening the transformer cover, draining out of transformer oil, assembling, removing of the burnt parts ie. tape, paper insulating strings etc gently and carefully, washing of the dust, rust and dirt from all parts including taking out cooling tubes, welding and re-assembling after carrying out required repair including commissioning and testing and transporting back to site/MES store yard/ installation on existing 2/4 pole structure/ platform with necessary fixing arrengement including connecting up electrically, commissioning and testing all as directed by Engr- in- Charge for the following capaity of Transformer :- | |||||

| 2.06 | (vii) The above shall however does not absolve the responsibility of the contractor for rectification of any defect, if any noticed during guarantee period of 01 year as per condition 46 of IAFW-2249 and the contractor shall be solely responsible for entire completion of work and for rectification of the defect/replacement of items/parts and required pointed out by the GE during defect liability period of 01 year. Payment only for dehydration of the transformer oil and painting of the transformers replacement of certain items considered separately here- in- after shall only be made for separately all other minor repair/replacement as required and ordered by the Engr- in- Charge for entire completion of work shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of the above items.
(viii) The contractor shall also clear the breathers. The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall included this aspect also.
(ix) Contractor shall provide all arrangement for carefully handling/conveyance of/ transportation of equipment by means of crane/chain pully/recovery van and vehicles as per requirements and directed by Enge- in- Charge.
(xi) The rate quoted by contractor shall include all these aspect from (i) to (x) while quoting his tender that quoted rate also include the provision of providing electric connection to exisiting system.(x) Transformer oil tank rubberised 6.0mm thick gasket sheet pasted using gasket cement, oil level gauge, drain valve, painting inner side tank by zinc chromate paint and outer side by approved paint include in this item rate. | - | - | - | - |
