Cleaning of strung Bus insulators at an elevation of 15 mts to make insulators healthy and to avoid carona discharge. a) Transformer Strung bus insulator - 9 Nos x 2 ends x 1 time/year = 18 Nos. b) Feeder Strung bus insulator - 12 Nos x 4 times/year = 48 Nos.

Cleaning of under hung Bus bar support insulators stacks and cleaning of steel structures at an elevation of 13.5 mtrs including movement of telescopic type tiltable ladder, discharge rods from Switch yard-II stores to the work spot and back on completion of works to make insulators healthy and to avoid carona discharge. a) Generator Transformer IV & V, ST-III under hung Bus bar support insulators – 45 Nos x 1 time/year = 45 Nos. b) Bus section III & IV under hung Bus bar support insulators – 42 Nos x 1 time/year = 42 Nos. c) Feeders under hung Bus bar support insulators (CKNI, KNMLM, MDU, Sipcot) – 36 Nos x 1 time / year = 36 Nos.
