Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 meters depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 meters. ( HSR 6.6)

Earth filling under floor with surplus soil, excavated from foundation and taken only from outside the building plinth, in 15cm layers including ramming watering and consolidating lead upto 30 metres (HSR. 6.13 a)

Dismantling Brick work, Tiles Masonry of tile lining and tiles terracing in cement (HSR. 8.5 b)

Cement concrete 1:8:16 with stone aggregate 40 mm Nominal size in foundation and plinth. (HSR 10.28).

First Class Brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:6 in foundation & plinth (HSR 11.2)

Damp proof course 40mm thick of cement concrete 1:2:4 using stone aggregate with 2 coats of bitumen 20/30 penetration at 1.65 kg per sqm. laid hot and sanded. (Ch. 10.114)

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:6 in first storey upto 4 metres above plinth level. (HSR 11.7)

Conglomerate floor 40 mm thick cement concrete topping 1:2:4 (HSR-14.9)

12mm thick cement Plaster 1:6 (HSR-15.7)

15mm thick cement plaster 1:6 on the rough side of single or half brick wall. (HSR. 15.12)

Providing and applying two coats white cement based putty over plastered surface and grindling the surface smooth with sand paper to get an even and smooth finish including cost and carriage of all material, labour charges, scaffolding, sundries etc. complete. (J.K./ Birla). (HSR 16.81)

Providing two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint. (Note-First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar shall be used approved by Engineer-in-Chief in writing. Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge) (HSR 16.79-b) Through rate.

Providing and fixing concrertina Coil wire 600mm dia complete in all respect i/c cost of Angle iron (N.S.) (Analysis attached)

Cement concrete 1:2:4 with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size in foundation and plinth.( HSR. 10.41)

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- Good Bricks @ Rs.4.50/- Each

Brick Bats @ Rs. 500/- P.cum Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
