REPAIR POLISHING OF ALL TYPE OF CHARPOYS BED HARD INCLUDING GI CHARPOY BED HARD COT TUBULAR INCL REPLACEMENT OF PLYWOODS REPLACEMENT OF HEADER AND FOOTER OF BEDS ETC AT OTA MH 16 MADRAS AND OTHER UNITS UNDER GE STM CHENNAI

Scrapping down the rusted portion of Charpoy IP hard top / Bed hard top with sand paper smoothening the surfaces carrying out repairs such as welding wherever required and applying two coat of synthetic enamel black paint, over one coat of red oxide primer and removing the U/S PVC Bush and S&F New PVC Bush , complete all as specified in drawing and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Removing the existing U/S Ply wood from Charpoy IP hard top / Bed hard top and supply and fix 12 mm thick BWR plywood and S&F suitable flat headed nuts and bolt including Suitable Cut Washer, complete all as specified in drawing and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Head board and footboard of the bed hard shall be made of 18/19 mm thick prelaminated MDF board both side, exterior grade (grade-I, type-II) ISI marked with approved walnut colour or shade as approved by GE of (Make:- Pre laminated MDF board from Century ply/ Green panel max from Green ply/ Action Tessa) with 2 mm thick PVC edging of matching colour all round on head board and footboard shall be fixed with strong bonded chemical through hot pressed machine to be provided as per standard workmanship. Note:- Hand pressed/manual pressed beading/edging will not be accepted.

Removing paint by scrapping down old painted surface carrying out repairs such as removing the dents and welding wherever required and applying one coat of synthetic enamel black paint over a coat of red oxide primer on cot tubular Steel, complete all as specified in drawing and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Removing the existing unserviceable cotton newar from the cot tubular and reweaving with new cotton newar of width 48mm, Superior quality all as approved in sample (14 rows length wise and 34) rows width wise, complete all as specified in drawing and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Removing existing unserviceable/ damaged wooden leg and supply and fix New set of two Nos long leg of size 50x50x900mm, made of 1.6mm thick MS Square pipe ISI mark in head rest side and set of two Nos new short leg of size 50x50x400mm, 1.6mm thick MS square pipe ISI marked in foot rest side and join the one side of existing long rails to the legs of head rest and other side of long rails to the legs of foot rest side with continuous welding. Welded portion to be grind and smoothen as per std workmanship complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Welding of existing metallic head frame and foot frame to the MS square leg after removing dents and bents of head frame and foot frame and welding to be done wherever required to strengthening the bed as per std workman ship. Two Nos 25 x 25 x 100mm long rectangular pipe to be welded to the each leg for support of MNF frame set lower pipe to be closed at the bottom complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.
