M&L for construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 1200 mm x 1200 mm x 1200 mm (internal dimensions) with brick work in cement mortar (1:4) including excavation and earth work complete with 3 mm thick MS sheet cover and MS angle 40 x 40 x 6 mmwith locking arrangement, hinges and handle , rendering work, painting to all steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint (1st grade quality) over a coat of red oxide primer, complete as specified and as directed.

NOTES: [i] The pump shall be capable of furnishing not less than 150% rated capacity at a head of not less than 65% of the rated head. [ii] The shut-off head shall not exceed 120% of rated head.
