SECTION(A) PLUMBING WORKS (A)-(VI) TUBE WELL (a) Original Works 1 Labour for boring tube well of required dia. by water jet system through any type of soil strata including hire and labour charges for boring pipes, scaffolding, tools and plants as necessary and taking out them and lowering pipes, strainers, blind pipe etc. and fitting and fixing the same complete including bucket washing and other incidental works in the connection. The tube well should have a minimum 50 mm gap in between the outside of the tubewell pipe and the bore. (e) For depth upto 150 metre for 80 mm dia. tube well wuth top enlargement of 150 mm dia. (ii) 150 mm dia. boring etc. top enlargement Note - To arrive at labour cost for boring, lowering of a tube well of 50 mm dia. with top enlargement of 100 mm dia. of depth 30 metre having a total depth of boring say 200 metre from G.L.: (i) 30 m X f(ii) + 120 m X d(i) + 50 m X f(i) = Rs.10320.00 + Rs.27720.00 + Rs. 8700.00 = Rs.46740.00

Supplying, fitting and fixing in position G.I. pipes of TATA make for underground works with all necessary accessories,specials viz.socket, bend, tee, union, cross, elbow, nipple, short piece etc.including cost of all materials,jointing materials ,cutting pipes,making threads,cutting trenches upto 1.5 metre below surface in all sorts of soil and refilling the same as directed with two coats of painting on G.I. pipes and specials with bituminous paint complete in all respect. (Payment will be made on the centre line measurement of the total pipe line including all specials No separate payment will be made for accessories, specials.Payment for painting will be made seperately) (ix) 100 mm dia. medium quality

Note: Initial 6 m. of Annular space between the housing pipe and the bore should not be shrouded with Pea size gravel to avoid contamination with surface water.
