REPAIRS TO ROAD AT CDA (ARMY), CDA (PD) AND CDA (RTC) UNDER AGE B/R-III OF GE (SOUTH) MEERUT CANTT

M & L for preparing the existing black top surface with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose, dirt etc and material and labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) stone chippings mixed with 5.5% of binder contents paving bitumen (VG-30) viscosity grade by weight of total mixed in hot mix plant, transported to site on tippers and laid with mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with Paving bitumen bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq meters

M & L for premix bituminous macadam bitumen @4% (by weight of total mix) binder contents (VG-30) viscosity grade any penetration laid and rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness n exc 75mm) with 8 to 10 ton power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre line, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like nexc 10cm wide of roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions.

S&F in repair 1000mm dia convex mirror for visibility and fixed with 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade ISI mark (height of pipe not less than 1.20 from ground level) & embedd in post holes (size 450mm x 450mm x 600mm) in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone agg) & incl earth work, excavation, RFR etc . Complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level)

M&L for 100mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded agg) as in sub-base complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand.

M&L for providing, cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (20mm graded agg) in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs not provided for in Item 04028, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete type D-2 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded agg) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete type B-2 1:2:4 (using 40mm garded agg) as in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Framed work such as grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation new steel & iron surface of any description, not otherwise, descried, over 10cm width or girth applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide (zine chrome) complete all as specified and directed.
