Water Bound Macadam Grading 3 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density. (SI.No. 405.3)

Providing laying Prime coat With Bitumen emulsion (SS- A) on prepared surface of granular base inculding cleaning of road surfafe and spraying prime coat of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechnical means as technical Specification Clause 502.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade using bitumen pressure distributer at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm on the prepared granular surface treated with primer & cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503.

Providing, laying and rolling of open graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen VG-10 to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheele 80-100KN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades complete all specified in Manual MORD technical specification clause 508 and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing and applying seal coat by manual means with 80/100 grade bitumen sealing the voids in bitumens surface laid to the specified levels grade and cross fall using type C as per technical Specification Clause 510.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thickness including reflectorising glass @250gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mmm in exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC: 35- 2015 the finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streak and holes
