Drilling of Trail Borehole 300 mm (12 inch) dia from ground level to 150 metres in all kind of soil and any strata by ROTARY METHOD as per IS : 2800 1979 (revised and amended) below ground level including any electric logging, disposal of surplus soil within a distance of 100 m, well ramming and stabilizing of material, transportation of drilling rig and other T&P required, keeping sufficient space for pea gravel packing including lowering and extraction of casing pipes of suitable thickness after lowering of designed assembly of EWR pipe complete all as specified and as directed Notes:- (i) ERW housing pipes shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) In case the depth of borewell is required to be increased beyond 150mtr due to non achieving of desired discharge, the quoted rate against Srl item 01 here-above shall be deemed to be applicable upto 200mtr without any increase in rates beyond 150mtr. (iii) In case of non-extraction of casing pipe during the course of drilling, any type of mishap, any type of fishing operation, or the failure of a bore well, the contractor will have no claim whatsoever on this account. (iv) Casing pipe along with direct rotary drill pipes with with tools shall be arranged by the contractor, and the same shall remain the property of the contractor after extraction.

The contractor has to submit the test result/report as per IS:2800(Part-II -1979(with amendment) as following:- (a) Results of the tube well depth and water level measurements. (b) Results of development and drawdown test are to be given in tabular form as per relevant IS. (c) The vertically test report shall be given as per the relevant IS. (d) The housing/casing pipe shall be inserted only after a certificate is given by GE for a successful trial borehole.

Enlargement of the borehole from 300 mm to 500 mm from Ground Level to 150 mtrs. NOTES:- (i) The rate for enlargement of the trial bore beyond 150 mtrs depth, upto the depth of trial bore drilled under Srl Item No. 01 above, if ordered by GE depending on the CGWB recommendation or the basis of the electrical logging report, will be admissible at the rates quoted against this item. (ii) The note is applicable for Srl item No. 2 verticality test of the tube-well structure shall be carried out by the contractor, and the cost is deemed to be included in the item rate.

Supplying, assembling including lowering and fixing linear assembly or strainer etc in position (net effective length shall only be measured and paid) all as specified below :-

Mild steel ERW bevelled end housing pipe with a 300 mm (12 inch) nominal bore, having a minimum 8 mm wall thickness confirming IS:4270-2001, and all around welded with 04 Nos stiffeners of flat iron 75x8mm, 300 mm long, complete all as specified and as directed.

Mild steel ERW bevelled end slotted pipe 300 mm (12 inch) nominal bore 300 mm (12 inch) nominal bore having a minimum 8 mm wall thickness confirming IS:4270-2001, having a slot size of 1.6 mm x 75 mm as per IS:8110:2000, and all around welded with 04 Nos stiffeners of flat iron 75x8mm, 300 mm long, complete all as specified and as directed.

Housing pipe clamps made of MS flat of size 100mmx12mm and 750 mm long for 300 mm (12 inch) bore pipe with suitable bolts, nuts and washers, all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and filling pea gravel of sizes 2 mm to 6 mm around the liner assembly from bottom to ground level, including continuous watering during development, all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing Mild Steel Well Cap for (12 inch) 300 mm bore made out of mild steel ERW 8mm thick threaded casing pipe complete, all as specified and as directed.

Development of tube well by surging/back washing etc., using by air compressor at a minimum pressure of 1400 CFM at 350 Psi (compressor to be arranged by contractor at his own cost), until sand free and clear water up to 5 PPM is obtained at optimum yield, complete all as specified and directed.

First 24 hours of development (collectively)

Note :- The cost of the yield test by V Notch method and testing of water sample (chemical and biological) from Government approved Laboratory / Regional Research Laboratory to confirm the potability of water as per IS-10500-2012shall deemed to be included in the rates of Serial Item No '7 to 7.02' above and nothing extra from the Department shall be admissible on this account.

Supplying strata sample box made of 1st class soft wood (Deodar) with glazed shutter and pigeon holes for depth sample at the interval of every 3 metres and supplying of strata chart duly marked on 3 mm thick laminated sheet of size 4 inch X 3 inch giving complete details of display of installation, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing MS 300 mm (12 inch) bail plug having minimum thickness 8 mm, all as per IS: 2800;1991 (With latest amendments) complete all as specified & as directed.

Flat iron of size 50x6mm as centre guides of required size including welding to casing pipe all as specified

Construction of foundation of tube well of size 1.0m x 1.0m having 45mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (Using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) laid over 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 with GI pipe 80mm bore medium grade - 02 Nos embedded through out the block of suitable length with GI plug and socket fixed on end, complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:- The quantity considered in Srl No 1 to 11 as above are for 02 Nos bore well at different locations at Sunjuwan areas.
