Annexure-A

REGULAR MAINTENANCE SERVICE Scope of work:

Air Circuit Breaker: (i) Removal of old grease and re-greasing the same complete as required. (ii) Check condition of arcing contact and gap between fixed and moving arcing contacts shall be checked. (iii) Checking the reset mechanism, tripping of breaker through push button. (iv) Checking tripping of ACB through protection release. (v) Tripping of ACB manually through volt metric release. (vi) Checking and adjust freeness of DN and volt metric release trip rod. (vii) Checking of presence and proper tightning of hardware. (viii) Checking presence of all cir clips. (ix) Checking condition and alignment of jaw contact with cradle terminals. (x) Checking condition of ACB wiring and replace if required. (xi) Checking and adjusting gap between hylam sheet and side plate.

(xii) Checking proper closing of all poles together. (xiii) Checking working of anti pumping device in case of EDO ACB. (xiv) Checking alignment of SIC and it's operation. (xv) Checking scrapping earth alignment and condition of arc chutes. (xvi)Checking U/V release pick up & drop off and ACB tripping through shunt release. (xvii) Checking motor operation in case of EDO ACB. (xviii) Checking closing coil operation in case of EDO ACB. (xix) Checking continuity and proper changeover of aux contact block. (xx) Checking of release by secondary injection for O/L, S/C, E/F. (xxi) Setting of release as per the load and Checking the healthiness of CTs. (xxii )Any parts found defective shall be replaced by the contractor but items shall either be supplied by IIT Delhi or can be supplied by the contractor at extra cost after the approval of Engineer-In-Charge.

Consumables and reporting: (i) In case of any faulty part taken out of any switchgear and replaced, the same shall be handed over to IIT Delhi. (ii) Any other defect observed during service, which will affect the performance of switchgear shall be recorded by the contractor and shall give a copy of the same to IIT Delhi for records and further action.
