REPAIR MAINT OF FILTRATION PLANT PUMP SETS MOTORS SUBMERSIBLE PUMP SETS WITH CONNECTED ITEMS AT AF STN NAL UNDER GE (AF) NAL

Material and labour for Annual comprehensive maintenance of a filtration plant comprising the following equipments complete all as specified and directed. (a) Raw water Jack well -01 No (b) Low lift pump sets 7.5 HP x3 and control panels -01 set (c) Receiving Chamber -01 No (d) Flash mixer chamber including motor, control panel - 01No (e) Clari flocculator tank complete with motor and control panel -01 No (f) Sand and gravel filter bed - 03 Nos (g) Alum dosing & soda mixing chamber , pump set etc - 01 each (h) Sludge deposit well & pump set - 01 Each (i) Air compressor and connected items - 01 Set (j) Connected pipe line and sluice valves and accessories - 01 set Note :- (i) Rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included for the following (ii) Grease and lubricating oil shall be provided by the contractor at his own end and nothing extra shall be payable on this account. (a) Weekly maintenance :- (i) Contractor shall provide trained technician and a helper, who will visit filtration plant once in a week, to check and repair / servicing of the equipments above including back washing of sand bed to ensure the serviceability and proper functioning of filtration plant. (ii) Cleaning all filtration plant building inside, plant room,eqpts including surrounding area minimum for five meter all around of bldgs, chamber, jack well. (B) Monthly maintenance:-

Material and labour for quarterly maintenance of a filtration plant complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Filtration plant is consisting of the following (i) Draining of complete water from raw water jack well, cleaning manually by wire brushes , taking out mud , algae and other dust particles, re-cleaning with bleaching and lime mixed with water and drying, checking of all valves and accessories complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Draining of complete water from the clari-flocculator of size 5 m dia and 2.5 m deep(Approx) , cleaning manually by wire brushes , taking out mud , algae and other dust particles, re-cleaning with bleaching and lime mixed with water , cleaning off all flocculating motor shaft and blades complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (iii) Draining of complete water from the raw water receiving chamber and flash mixer chamber, then cleaning manually by wire brushes , taking out mud , algae and other dust particles, re-cleaning with bleaching and lime mixed with water , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (iv) Cleaning the dosing chamber after taking out stainless steel-grill manually with wire brushes ,taking out dirt particles then cleaning with bleaching and lime mixed with water and refixing the grill complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge . (v) Cleaning of sludge disposal chamber by removing and spreding sludge 100 mtr away from the site as indicated and directed, cleaning connected under water pipes cleaning submersible pump and foot valve complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for cleaning of filter beds 60000 ltr per hour by removing of accumulated sand/dust particles and unserviceable filter media from bottom of the filter beds and removing sludge/ wastage to 3 kms away from the station and refilling filter media back in to bed after thorough cleaning, however additional gravels required, shall be measured and paid for separately as supply only complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Beds shall be cleaned manually to avoid any damage in the bed/ structure / piping system. (ii) Unit rate of this item includes the cost of removal including loading and un-loading in vehicle of existing filter media/ gravel through suitable transportation. Vehicle shall be provided by the contractor at his own end and cost .Filter media required for replacement if any shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) Before under taking the above maintenance, contractor shall arrange the sufficient man power and T&P required for Job well in time.

Supply only natural gravels of size 20-25mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only natural gravels of size 15-20mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only natural gravels of size 6-10mm complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down flash mixer motor of 2 HP, 3 Phase, 440 V by disconnecting from steel shaft & reduction gear arrangement and including repairing the motor by replacing the burnt winding, repairing the vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear box suitable for 2 Hp motor and re-fixing the same after changing suitable bushes, greasing, oiling changing its complete agitator frame , running and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down agitator motor of 2 HP, 3 Phase, 440 V, with reduction gear and shaft, and including repairing the motor by replacing bearings, gears, repairing the vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear box suitable for 2 Hp motor and re-fixing the same, after oiling, greasing complete, running, testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down flocculator motor of 2 HP, 3 Phase, 440 V, with reduction gear and shaft, and including repairing the motor by replacing bearings, gears, repairing the vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear box suitable for 2 Hp motor fixing the same, after oiling, greasing complete, running, testing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down the defective components of flocculation tank (flocculation tank) parts by parts and then repair the same by carrying out the following jobs. (a) Repairing the 2 Hp motor by replacing bearings and gears ,fixing the same, after oiling, greasing complete, running, testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Replacement of breeze wiper and its holder with new one as per existing dimension - Number of set, (c) Replacement of agitator fans new one as per existing make & model, (d) Repairing of agitator gear box vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear with suitable for 2 Hp motors, slipering, carbon bushes, bush holder with cables and its connected items.- 1 Nos (e) Replacement of breeze movement gear box vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear vertical down 3 inch centre 30/1 ratio gear with new one suitable for 2 Hp motor - 01 Nos , chain gear,spockets,bearing,housing, sleeves, roller-02 nos,and its connected items. Note: (i) Contractor shall visit the site to ensure the repair of items and its make & model. Make & model shall be as per existing. (ii) All T&P required for repairs shall be supplied by contractor without extra cost. (iii) Unit rate of this item includes the cost of re-assembling/ re-fixing and get functioning of same perfectly to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
