Leakage Rectification and Water Proofing Work of Terrace and Overhead Water Tank at Service Block, North Yard of MDL, Mumbai.

Removal of existing bituminious membrane Waterproofing and removal of primer coat under existing membrane. Exposed surface shall be further cleaned to remove any loose particles, dust etc before further treatment. The debris material to be stacked at Ground as directed by EIC.

Filling of cracks as follows : 1. Cracks to be marked out along with EIC 2. Opening of cracks and cleaning the same 3. Filling of cracks using Dr. Fixit Crack X Paste (Or Equivalent)

PMM for loose concrete shall be treated as follows : 1. Hollow area to be marked out along with EIC 2. Hollow areas to be opened using chisel & hammer, and cleaned 3. Opened up area to be filled with Dr. Fixit Polymer Modified Mortar (Or Equivalent), including base coat to improve bonding. Mortar shall be filled to bring to level with existing surface. 4. The debris material to be stacked at Ground as directed by EIC.

Injecting Dr, Fixit Polyurethane injection resin (Or Equivalent)

Drilling holes in surface of the slab (Positive side Min. 60-90 mm). Fixing non - reversible alloy packers for injection as per required length at incline angle (45 to 60 degree) to slab surface.

Waterproofing of the prepared surface using Dr. Fixit Hydroshield PUD Plus (Or Equivalent) as per specification : 1. Prime the surface with Dr. Fixit Primeseal (Or Equivalent) diluted with water in the ratio 2:1 2. Apply 1st coat of Dr. Fixit Hydroshield PUD Plus (Or Equivalent) by brush or roller. Before the coat dries, embedd fibre mesh into the coat and let the coat dry completly 3. Apply 2nd coat of Dr. Fixit Hydroshield PUD Plus (*Or Equivalent), perpendicular to 1st coat and let it dry. 4. To achieve DFT of 0.8-1.0mm, coverage of approx. 0.6 litre/M2/coat is required. Allow complete drying between coats with a minimum of 3 to 4 hours depending on weather conditions

Filling of cracks as follows for Parapet wall : 1. Cracks to be marked out along with EIC 2. Opening of cracks and cleaning the same 3. Filling of cracks using Dr. Fixit Crack X Paste(Or Equivalent)

Repair of Debonded Plaster : 1. Loose plaster to be removed using chisel & hammer 2. New plaster to be applied to exposed surface

Application of Dr. Fixit Raincoat (Or Equivalent) for wall, as per manufacturers specification for wall, as follows : 1. Priming of surface with Dr. Fixit Primeseal (Or Equivalent). Allow to dry for 2 to 3 hours or as per ambient conditions 2. Application of 2 coats of Dr. Fixit Raincot (Or Equivalent), with a gap of 5 to 6 hours between both the coats 3. Final coat to be air cured for 7 days

Disposal of debris generated during construction to Municipal dumping ground outside MDL premises and making the site clean.

Repair of Debonded Plaster : 1. Loose plaster to be removed using chisel & hammer 2. New plaster to be applied to exposed surface

Filling of cracks as follows for Tank wall : 1. Cracks to be marked out along with EIC 2. Opening of cracks and cleaning the same 3. Filling of cracks using Dr. Fixit Crack X Paste(Or Equivalent)

Cement grouting at required places in hollow areas

Waterproofing of all internal surfaces of the tank : Provide & Apply Dr. Fixit Fastflex (Or Equivalent) on all surfaces as follows : 1. Ensure that surface is in SSD Condition 2. Apply first coat of Dr. Fixit Fastflex with brush or trowel 3.After first coat has completely dried (5 to 6 hours or as per ambient conditions),apply second coat of Dr.Fixit Fast flex and leave to air cure for 7 days
