SPECIAL REPAIR TO EXISTING ROOF TREATMENT AND ALLIED WORKS AT KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA AT BENGDUBI MIL STN UNDER GE BENGDUBI

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) as in benching, cover fillets, roof kerbs, kerbs PCC padding over roof and of any description & in any position not otherwise specifically provided-for, including taking down existing un-servicable waterproofing treatment from roof slab surfaces, roughening of old concrete surfaces by picking, cleaning the surfaces by wire brush and also including disposing off the retrieved debris outside the premises / site, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 40mm thick cement concrete type B0 (1:2:4) (Using 12.5 mm crushed stone aggregates) admixed with admixture Conplast WL Xtra (of Make FOSROC or equvilant brand of other manufracturer) at the rate of 125ml/ 50 kg Bag of Cement and Vergin ploypropylene Fibre (Recron) (of Make RELIANCE or equvilant brand of other manufracturer) at the rate of 125gm per 50 kg Bag of Cement, as in padding over roof etc, finsihed even and smooth without using extra cement, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge under the guidence of authorised applicator of the manufracturer.

M&L for waterproofing coating with polyurethane based water proofing liquid membrane to be applied by brush with three coats miniumum dry film of total thickness 1mm thick and shall be cured by reaction with atmospheric moisture to give a tough elastomeric waterprrofing memebrane, complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Item No. 03 to 06 shall be excuted through authorised applicator of the manufacturer as approved by GE.

Coving treatment to be done at all junctions of coving size (50mm X 50mm ) with Nitobond SBR latex (of Make FOSROC or equvilant brand of other manufracturer) to be mixed with cement, complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repairing of cracks & honeycomb treatment by Injection grouting, by identifying the cracks and joints, chasing shall be chased open into 'U' groove shape. The surface of the groove shall be suitabily prepared as required to apply the mortar. Apply a bond coat of SBR Latex (of Make FOSROC or equvilant brand of other manufracturer) and sealed with Shrinkage controlled, polymer modified, fiber reinforced cementitious repair mortar fixing PVC nozzle, injection grouting to be done with cement slurry admixed with expanding grout admixture to be mixed @ 225 gm/ 50kg bag of cement., complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Bore packing to be done at pipe entries by forming proper formwork and filling the gap with non-shrinkable cementitious grout and sealed with epoxy/polyester sealant., complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc including removal of debris and rubbish from the site outside the premises, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM (1:4) on brick work or concrete surface finsihed even and smooth (without using extra cement) mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer`s instruction, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM (1:6) on brick work or concrete surfaces, finsihed even and smooth (without using extra cement), complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 5mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete surfaces of ceiling/Chajja/Fascia of chajja etc, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of wall care Putty (minimum thickness of two layers shall be 2.00mm) and thereafter applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion weather coat paint @ 1.43 ltr/10 sqm (for two coats) paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 Sqm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment from the old decorated surfaces of walls, preparing the surfaces, applying two coats of wall care Putty (minimum thickness of two layers shall be 2.00mm) and thereafter applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion weather coat paint @ 1.43 ltr/10 sqm (for two coats) paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 Sqm, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls, applying two coats of wall care Putty (minimum thickness of two layers shall be 2.00mm) and thereafter applying two coats of oil bound distemper, white or any tint as approved, over and including a coat of primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coats of white wash, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down 20mm bore steel tubing & connections, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 16 above but 25 mm bore

Fixing only of 20mm bore GI tubing, medium grade with provision of new G.I. fittings as required and fixing accessories in new or old position (walls,ceiling, floor etc) including testing, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as item No 18 herein before but 25mm bore.

S&F 20mm bore medium grade, galvanized steel tubing (including in short lengths) with and including all fittings, fixed partly on the surfaces and partly concealed in the walls & ceiling or laid in floors, also including cutting chases of the required size and making good the same after fixing of the pipes in CM 1:3 to match with the adjoining surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item no 20 above but 25 mm bore pipes.

Disconnecting existing tanks, exc 250 & n exc 500 ltr setting aside ( or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning etc and re-hoisting, reconnecting and refixing in position, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
