Operation, Watch & Ward of BPS in Rajouri Garden area, AC-27.

Operation, watch and ward of all (E&M) equipment installed in various Clear Water Booster Pumping Stations (BPSs) and OLB's, which includes Motor pump-sets, electric control panels, valves, and other auxiliary components with different capacities. To ensure continuous and efficient operations during designated supply hours, 03 Nos. Semi-skilled operators and 03 Nos. Un-skilled operators are to be deployed at following sites as per requirement / direction of engineer-in-charge. These workers shall be responsible not only for operating the systems but also for routine monitoring and minor upkeep of the installed infrastructure. The assigned tasks under this job include the following: • Supervision and routine operation of Motor, pump-sets and electrical & Mechanical systems and Minor electrical works. • Periodic tightening of connections in control panel boards, cleaning carbon deposits from panel/motor terminal connection plates, djustment of valves as needed, Correction of phase sequence, if found incorrect and attending to any exposed wiring or components during operation. • Maintaining operational log books and recording all daily activities and abnormalities. • Cleaning and general housekeeping of the pump house area to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.

This work is to be carried out at the following booster pumping stations and OLB's sites: 1. 512 (MIG) Rajouri Garden BPS (1 No. Semi-skilled & 1 No. Un-skilled during pumping hours on break-duty) 2. 570 (Red MIG) Rajouri Garden BPS (1 No. Semi-skilled & 1 No. Un-skilled during pumping hours on break-duty) 3. Mukharjee Park OLB (1 No. Semi-skilled & 1 No. Un-skilled during pumping hours on break-duty) Total no. of staff deployed: 06 Nos (Semi-skilled 03 Nos. and Un-skilled 03 Nos.) Period: 365 Days
