RENOVATION OF CIVIL WORK AT NALCO HOSPITAL, NALCO TOWNSHIP, DAMANJODI

Amount

1) Removing the excavated materials, debris of any description and any other waste materials, spoil heaps including loading into trucks/tractors using baskets by head load or any other means and transporting by trucks/tractors and unloading at the earmarked places etc. complete for the following leads.

1.1) Removal upto 1km in Township/plant and mines area at low lying areas.

2) Providing and laying plain cement concrete at all depths below and upto plinth level in foundations, footings, non-suspended floors including tamping, curing etc. but excluding the cost of centering and shuttering etc. as specified or directed in any shape, position, thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth etc. all complete. (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

2.1) P.C.C 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 Coarse sand: 4 Graded stone aggregates of 20mm nominal size)

3) Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position with hold fast lugs or with dash fasteners of required dia & length ( hold fast lugs or dash fastener shall be paid for separately)

3.1) Sal wood

4) Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters conforming to IS : 2202 (Part I) non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters :

4.1) 30 mm thick including ISI marked Stainless Steel butt hinges with necessary screws

5) Providing and fixing M.S.Grills of required pattern in frames of windows etc with M.S.Flat,square bar or round bar etc all complete. (All materials shall be in contractor's scope)

5.1) Fixed to openings/wooden frames with rawl plugs screws etc.

6) Providing and fixing factory made P.V.C. door frame of size 50x47 mm with a wall thickness of 5 mm, made out of extruded 5mm rigid PVC foam sheet, mitred at corners and joined with 2 Nos of 150 mm long brackets of 15x15 mm M.S. square tube, the vertical door frame profiles to be reinforced with 19x19 mm M.S. square tube of 19 gauge, EPDM rubber gasket weather seal to be provided through out the frame. The door frame to be fixed to the wall using M.S. screws of 65/100 mm size, complete as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineer in-Charge.

7) Providing and fixing factory made panel PVC door shutter consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes of 19 gauge thickness and size of 19 mm x 19 mm for styles and 15x15 mm for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall have a coat of steel primers of approved make and manufacture . M.S. frame covered with 5 mm thick heat moulded PVC 'C' channel of size 30 mm thickness, 70 mm width out of which 50 mm shall be flatm and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree angle on both side forming styles and 5 mm thick, 95 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree on the inner side to form top and bottom rail and 115 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered on both sides to form lock rail. Top, bottom and lock rails shall be provided both side of the panel. 10 mm (5 mm x 2 ) thick, 20 mm wide cross PVC sheet be provided as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail, paneling of 5 mm thick both side PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded/ sealed to the styles & rails with 7 mm (5 mm+2 mm) thick x 15 mm wide PVC sheet beading on inner side, and joined together with solvent cement adhesive. An additional 5 mm thick PVC strip of 20 mm width is to be stuck on the interior side of the 'C' Channel using PVC solvent adhesive etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, manufacturer's specification & drawing.

7.1) 30 mm thick plain PVC door shutters

8) Providing & fixing fly proof wire gauze to aluminium windows (sliding or casement), clerestory windows & doors with M.S. Flat 15x3 mm / necessary aluminium 'U' channel and screws/nuts & bolts complete.

8.1) Stainless steel (grade 304) wire gauze of 0.5 mm dia wire and 1.4 mm aperture on both sides

9) Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08 % and conforming to I.S. 15622, of approved make (Nitco / orient / somany / Kajaria / H & R Johnson or equivalent), in all colours & shade, in skirting, riser of steps, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including grouting the joint with white cement & matching pigments etc. complete. (GREY CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE). White cement required for the work shall be in the contractor's scope

9.1) Size of Tile 600x600 mm

10) Providing and laying matt finished / antiskid vitrified floor tiles of approved make (ENDURA SANDEX SERIES of H & R Johnson or equivalent make) of size 600x600x10 mm, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigmentsincluding hacking where required all complete as per instruction of EIC . (GREY CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE). White cement required for the work shall be in the contractor's scope

11) Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles of approved make (Nitco / orient / somany / Kajaria / H & R Johnson or equivalent) in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments including hacking where required all complete as per instruction of EIC . (GREY CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE). White cement required for the work shall be in the contractor's scope

11.1) Size of Tile 600x600 mm

12) Providing and laying 15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:6 ( 1 cement : 6 fine sand ) on the rough sides of single or half brick wall or masonary work using approved type of sand including curing etc all complete for all height. (CEMENT SHALL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE)

13) Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface :

14) Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

14.1) Two or more coats on new / old work

15) Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade :

15.1) New / old work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/ 10 sqm)

16) Applying priming coat :

16.1) With ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/steel works

17) Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

17.1) Two or more coats on new work

18) Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. (old work)

19) Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge.

19.1) Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

20) Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood) shutter including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking complete and return to Departmental store:

20.1) Of area 3 sq. metres and below

21) Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead.

21.1) For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm

22) Dismantling G.I. pipes manually / by mechanical means including stacking of pipes within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

22.1) 15 mm to 40 mm nominal bore excluding excavation and refilling trenches.

23) Dismantling of flushing cistern of following types including stacking of useful materials near the site and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50 metres lead.

24) Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

35) Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, including fixing the pipe with necessary clamps. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge (For internal & external work).

36) Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, i/c fixing the pipe with necessary clamps. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement and the cost of cutting chases and making good the same complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge (Concealed work, including cutting chases and making good the walls etc.).

37) Providing and fixing white vitreous china pedestal type (European type / wash down type) water closet pan of approved make (Hindware / Parryware / Cera or equivalent)

38) Providing and fixing P.V.C. low level flushing cistern of approved make (Hindware / Parryware / Cera or equivalent) with manually controlled device (handle lever) conforming to IS : 7231, with fittings, accessories and necessary flush pipe complete.

38.1) 10 litre capacity - White

39) Providing and fixing 32mm dia Acrylic/ Plastic bend pipe of approved quality for high / low level cistern including cutting the floor and making good same, getting out of old damaged flush bend with all labour and materials etc. complete.

40) Providing and fixing PTMT grating of approved quality and colour (Circular type).

40.1) 125 mm nominal dia with 25 mm waste hole

41) Providing and fixing white vitreous china wash basin of approved make (Hindware / Parryware / Cera or equivalent) including making all connections but excluding the cost of fittings :

41.1) Flat back wash basin of size 550x400 mm

42) Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make (i.e. JINDAL / HINDALCO or equivalent make), fixing with dash fastners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required rubber/neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, and joined mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, locking cleat for locking arrangement, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, screws, wheels for sliding windows all complete as per drawings and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (No wastage will be paid). (Glazing, paneling to be paid for separately).

42.1) For fixed portions:

42.1.1) Powder coated aluminium (Minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron)

42.2) For shutters of doors, windows (Sliding or Casement) & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of rubber / neoprene gasket required. (fittings shall be paid separately). (No wastage will be paid).

42.2.1) Powder coated aluminium (Minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron)

43) Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with rubber / neoprene gasket wherever / if required for old / new work etc. complete as per the drawings and the directions of engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item):
