CONTRACT FOR PROVIDING AND FIXING FIRE DOORS AT VARIOUS ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS IN SGP, WTP AT RCF THAL

Dismantling door (steel or wood shutter/s) including frame, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within 50 metres lead as directed.

Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and disposing same to factory scrap yard. Payment shall be made as per the RCF weighbridge challan and after proper disposal only.

Dismantling brick masonry in lime or cement mortar and stacking the materials as directed with all leads, lifts, complete.

Providing second class Burnt Brick masonry with conventional/ I.S. type bricks in cement mortar 1:6 in superstructure including striking joints, raking out joints, watering and scaffolding etc. Complete

Providing cement plaster 20mm thick in a single coat using Ready to use wall plaster, in cement mortar 1:3, to concrete, brick/AAC block surfaces in all positions including scaffolding and curing.

providing and applying polymer modified, ready mixed, cement micro- concrete/plaster of any thickness as per site requirement of approved brand including curing etc. as per manufacturer's specifications or as per instructions of engineer in-charge (the items shall be paid on actual consumption of micro concrete only) and including necessary m.s. pipe scaffolding and shuttering etc.complete.

Providing and fixing fire doors with 2 hour fire rating conforming to IS: 3614 (Part 2) / BS 476 (Parts 20 & 22); 45 mm thick fully flush, double skin door shell with lock seam joints at stile edges made from 1.25 mm thick galvanized steel sheet with infill material of Rockwool/mineral wool, including door frames made from 1.6 mm thick galvanized steel sheet formed to double rebate profile of size 143 mm x 57mm as per manufacturer's instructions, Vision panel shall be of size 0.2mx0.3m with 10mm (min.) thick, clear, non-wired fire resistant glass. Door frames and shutter to be primed with Zinc Phosphate stoving Primer and finished with Polyurethane Aliphatic grade or epoxy paint (DFT: 60-65 micron) including accessories consisting of i) stainless steel ball bearing butt hinges 3 mm thick, 102mmx76mm, fixed flush to the frame and shutter, ii) full width horizontal handles (panic bar), iii) Lock: Mortise sash lock with lever handles, iv) concealed extended lever action flush bolts on top of door for double leaf door , v) door closer/s of suitable capacity, other standard fixtures and fasteners, etc. complete.
