For the transformer compartment, the work includes checking the core-coil assembly, inspecting bushing seals for oil leakage, tightening all electrical terminations, checking off-circuit tap changer operations, inspecting breather silica gel condition, cleaning the radiator fins, and conducting mandatory winding insulation resistance (IR) and magnetic balance testing. For the LT compartment, the work entails overhauling and servicing the Air Circuit Breakers (ACB) or Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB), checking main contact alignments, testing protection relays, shunt trips, auxiliary controls, checking bus bar joints for hotspots, and verifying the proper functioning of exhaust fans, space heaters, and door interlocks. Finally, the contractor shall replace all worn-out neoprene/EPDM enclosure gaskets, seal all cable entry glands, and apply specialized sealants to ensure the entire CSS structure is completely weatherproof, dust-proof, and vermin-proof complete in all aspect all as specified and as directed.
Note: The dehydration/filtration of the transformer core insulation oil and oil top-up, if required based on the breakdown voltage (BDV) test results, shall not be covered under this scope and shall be measured and paid for separately under the respective item of the schedule. | 4 | Each Job | 100 | ₹400 |
| 2 | M&L for Safe and professional disconnection of indoor or outdoor oil-cooled/dry-type transformers, ranging in capacity from 200kVA to 1000kVA, involving the systematic electrical isolation and physical disconnection of all High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) terminal connections, cable terminations, and earthing strips including mechanical dismantling of mounting bolts and accessories, followed by the technical maneuvering, lowering from plinths, or shifting the unit out of the substation premises using specialized heavy-duty rollers, jacks, or crane arrangements as site conditions dictate, ensuring total protection against bushing damage or oil spillage during transit to the repair bay for major or minor overhauling, including all labor, T&P, and safety clearances as per site engineer’s direction. | 10 | Each Job | - | - |
| 3 | M&L for the controlled draining of insulating transformer oil from units with a capacity up to 1000 kVA to facilitate minor onsite repairs; the scope includes the provision of leak-proof, chemically cleaned, and moisture-free storage containers by the contractor to ensure the oil remains uncontaminated and fit for reuse, along with the safe handling, temporary storage, and protection of the oil against environmental ingress, followed by the complete refilling of the unit post-repair, ensuring proper oil levels and air bleeding as per standard maintenance procedures and site engineer's instructions | 10 | Each Job | - | - |
| 4 | M&L for the end-to-end transportation of unserviceable transformers with capacities up to 1000 kVA, including the professional loading and securing of the unit at the substation site, transit to the specialized repair workshop, and subsequent return transit to the original location following the completion of repairs including all logistical arrangements, including the deployment of suitable trucks or trailers, cranes for loading/unloading, specialized jacks and rollers for maneuvering through restricted substation layouts, and the precise re-installation and alignment of the transformer onto its original plinth or foundation, with the quoted rate being fully inclusive of all transportation costs, manpower, T&P, and necessary safety insurances as per site requirements and engineer's directions | 4 | Each Job | - | - |
| 5 | M&L for Servicing / Repair of Transformer capacity upto 1000 KVA as follows :-
(i) Fixing only HT procelain bushing with studs, nuts, washers 3 Nos. and LT procelain bushing with studs, nuts, and washers 4 Nos. and connection with primary and secondary windings and reconnecting with the main terminals as required and directed.
(ii) Fixing only breather assembly, conservator, oil temperature gauge after proper cleaning, minor repairs etc. as required and directed.
(iii) Replacement of all unserviceable gasket from top cover, HT/LT bushing with new one by using rubberised gasket sheet 4.0mm/6.0mm thick duly pasted with suitable adhesive .
(iv) Replacement of unserviceable bolts with new one and fixing of existing serviceable bolts, nuts, washers of different sizes and tightening properly.Note HT/LT copper Coil measure seperatly. | 22 | Each Job | - | - |
| 6 | Supply only of winding coils manufactured from high-grade, electrolytic-grade super enameled copper wire of premium quality, designed and wound to strictly match the existing gauge, physical dimensions, turns ratio, and impedance parameters of the transformer including premium interlayer insulation, vacuum drying, varnish impregnation, and standard factory testing to ensure full compatibility and resistance to short-circuit stresses complete in all aspect all as specified and as directed. | 650 | Kg | - | - |
| 7 | M&L for ON load Centrifuging and dehydration including filteration and cleaning of transformer oil by dehydration machine of 33 KV /11KV and 11/0.433 KV transformer at site and topping up deficient transformer oil including testing of samples before and after dehydration and filteration complete all as specified and directed.
