REPAIR TO ROOFS OF CERTAIN BLDGS IN DOMESTIC AREA AT BHISIANA UNDER GE (AF) BHISIANA

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles in any description and removing/disposal off from the site to outside MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work in half brick thick wall straight or curved on plan to any radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster/rough cast plaster from brick walls/soffits of roof projections & chajjas /ceilings etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc including disposal of rubbish material to any distance out side MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 15mm thick cement plastering in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing the surface and applying 02 coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint of approved tint/shade (Company Depot Tinted) @ 6 sq.m/litre/2 coats to external walls / Soffits of Chajjas / Roof Projections / Cantilevers / Balcony etc. (over any type of surface new or old prepared after complete removal, and applying putty etc) over and including a coat of exterior primer @ 11 sq.m/litre/1 coat (primer shall be same make as acrylic emulsion paint), paint and primer applying by using airless spray gun complete all as specified and as directed. Brand and Make of exterior acrylic emulsion paint: - Apex Ultima of Asian / Weather Coat antidust of Berger / Weather shield Protect of Dulux / Excel Mica Marble of Nerolac Brand and Make of primer for external : - Seal O Primer of Berger / Smart Care Primero of Asian / Excel Alkali Prime of Nerolac / Weather Shield Alkali Bloc of Dulux

Supply and fixing in replacement along wall or laying in trench 160mm nominal outside diameter PVC-U SWR (Soil, Waste and Rainwater) single socketed pipes, Type 'B', conforming to IS 13592, in any required length, laid truly to line and gradient with rubber ring joints using approved pipe joint lubricant as recommended by the manufacturer. The work shall include supplying and fixing all necessary fittings such as bends, tees, single and double Y-junctions, double tees, couplers/sockets, reducers, offsets, access fittings, vent cowls, end caps, plugs and other fittings of any angle or radius, with or without access doors, as required for completing the pipeline system. The item shall also include cutting the pipes to the required length, jointing, making necessary connections to the existing or new SWR system, providing proper alignment, testing the completed pipeline for leakage and satisfactory flow, and all labour, tools, plant and incidental works necessary to complete the work in all respects, as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Brackets, clamps, slotted channels, nuts, bolts, anchor fasteners, supporting arrangements and other fixing accessories shall be measured and paid for separately under the relevant BOQ items. (ii) Measurement for payment shall be made for the actual centre-line length of pipe laid, measured along the pipeline alignment between the centre lines of successive fittings, irrespective of the number of joints. No separate payment shall be made for the socket portion of the pipe, insertion length within sockets/joints, or for fittings such as bends, tees, reducers, junctions, couplers, vent cowls and similar fittings, the cost of which shall be deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate.
