| 1.00 | Supply of potable water through closed-top bowsers (4,000 liters each) collected from the MES pump house at Chamerlene and transported to Borgad Air Force Station, situated on a hilltop approximately 22 km away from Borgad (Chamerlene area), three times per week. Before unloading, it is mandatory to have the water inspected by the Air Force MI representative to check the residual chlorine content. Finally, the entire quantity of potable water in the bowser shall be emptied at the location specified by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: (i) The vehicle in which water is being ferried shall be fully insured with all valid documents in addition the driver & helper should pocess valid life insurance of suitable amount . ii) The water to be delivered three times a week as per written orders of Engineer-in-charge . (iii) In case for what so ever reasons Contractors fails to ferry & supply water on time in that case a penalty of Rs 10,000 / Per trip shall be leived on the contractor. (iv) The water bowser container being used to ferry water should be neat & clean without any sorts of leaks , cracks etc & further also comply to the norms of HSN Code failling which the shall be rejected by MES. (v) Water shall be loaded from MES pump house at chamerlene with locking arrangement, representative of user unit to ensure its potability and shall be submitted to sub-division on monthly basis.
