Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

The Item Rate quoted shall include the Royalty Charges on construction materials and other taxes as per prevailing Government Orders.

As per Karnataka State Government order No.LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore Dated 01.01.2007 and Government Letter No.PW/134/BMS/2007 Dated 27.7.2007, a sum amounting to 1%of the bill amount will be deducted towards Construction Labour Welfare fund.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

All the items in the tender include all lead, lifts, lab our, hire charges of machinery curing for concrete works, and all other incidental charges necessary for successful completion of works as per the direction of Engineer in charge of this work.

The Tenderer shall obtain the work done certificate in the prescribed format from the Competent Authority not below the rank of Executive Engineer District Level Officer and scan the Original Certificate and attach the scanned file to the Bid.

The tenderer shall note that the scanned Documents can also be uploaded in the tasks created under Document/Evidence Required from the Bidder

The Employer reserves the right to Reject any or all Tenders without assigning any reason

The Department is not responsible for any delay in accessing e-procurement portal

Tenderer shall note that the Tenders of those found Eligible as mentioned in Clause 3 - Qualification of the Tenderer in Section 2 : Instructions to Tenderer I T T will only be considered for evaluation

To Qualify for award of this contract, each bidder should give all details and documents as per technical and financial bid attached to this tender

The bidders shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of each tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

All materials required for this work shall be procured by the bidder himself and should got tested by the quality control authorities at his own cost before use on the work

Financial turnover of previous years shall be given a weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the 2026-27 in the Technical Qualification Criteria mentioned in the next section

The Tenderer should be a PWD Registered Class III & above contractor.

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the standard tender documents KW-2 KPWD and further orders thereon

Maintenance Period is 06 (Six) months Including monsoon.

EMD Part (1) Rs. 80700- by e-payment in favour of Executive engineer, PWD Division Dharwad & Part(2) of the EMD.,Rs. 0.00/- by Bank Guarantee issued by Nationalized/Scheduled Bank. Contractor should upload the scanned Copy of Bank Guarantee issued by Nationalized/Scheduled Bank. Original Bank Guarantee should be handed over by the bidders TO THE EXECUTIVE ENGINEER.

Successful bidder should produce 5% of the Contract price plus difference amount for unbalanced tenders in accordance with Clause 25.5 of ITT and Clause 44 of the Conditions of Contract.

Any deviation/error/mistake found in units of items,they should be read as in the unified SR 2023-24 - Continued SR, Issue Rates, prevailing order and the rates shall be quoted accordingly.

Qualification and experience of the key technical and management personnel in permanent employment with the tenderer and those that are proposed to be deployed on this contract, if awarded

The Successful Bidder should submit the Unbalanced amount of the Bid in the form of FDR while executing the Agreement in favour of Executive engineer, PWD Division Dharwad

This bid documents clause No. 34.4 to be implemented as per deligation of power vide GO No. 423 FC-1 2018 Bangalore dated 24.09.2018

Item for which no rates or price has been entered in will not be paid for by the Employer when executed & shall be deemed covered by the other rates & prices in the bill of quantities

As per Govt circular no GO-FD/AE 263/EXP12-2022 dt 11-05-2022, this clause for owning key equipments for works costing up to Rs.3.00 crores is exempted.

The Increase in GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time

The Item Rates quoted shall include the cost of Royalty charges on constructive materials & other taxes as per the rates prevailing Government Orders at the time of execution and including cost and conveyance of all materials, curing, loading and unloading with all leads and lifts, labour, hire charges of machinery & equipment, etc., complete and all incidental charges. All the items shall be executed as directed by the Engineer- in-charge of the work

Terms and conditions as per KW-2

Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit for an amount 5% of the Contract price

The bidder is required to maintain the Bridge executed and completed projects during the defect liability period of 12 months from the date of completion of the work
