NCTPS I SEMII Circle AHP Dn Unit I II III Attending Routine Maintenance Break down Maintenance and Annual overhauling of Bottom Ash Hopper Scrapper Feeders Clinker Grinders and its accessories Hoppers of Economizer Air Pre Heater Flue Gas Duct

I) ROUTINE MAINTENANCE of BAH, Scrapper feeder, Clinker grinder, ECO/APH and Duct hoppers in Unit-I,II & III. Day to Day maintenance of Bottom ash hopper, Scrapper feeder, Clinker Grinder, ECO,APH Hopper and Duct hopper by engaging skilled labour, unskilled labour,with qualified supervisor engaging round the clock (24 X 7). This works involves; I) Bottom ash hopper/Scrapper feeder:- i) Inspection and checking the oil level in the main drive gear box and topping up. ii) Inspection and checking the scrapper feeder chain tension by adjusting the chain tension adjusting assembly. iii) Checking the healthiness of the Hyflex and Holeset coupling Inspection and replace the rubber spider whenever required. iv) Checking the oil level in the Hydraulic power pack and topping up of oil whenever necessary. v) Checking the seal trough and scrapper feeder overflow and throttling of valve whenever necessary vi) Greasing of plummer block bearing housing in Carrying side/Return side and Idler wheel. vii) Inspection of Ash discharge chute/gates. viii) Checking the quenching nozzles and removal of chokes if necessary. ix) Checking the powerpack's of scrapper feeder and hydralic gates oil level, oil flow, filters and top up whenever required. II. Clinker grinders :- i) Inspection and greasing the bearings. ii) Inspection and checking the oil level in gear box and fluid coupling and top up if necessary III. ECO,APH and Duct hoppers :- i) Hammering and ensuring free discharge of ash. ii) cleaning chocking by pocking. IV. picking of clinker internally for free flow of ash/ maintain adequate water pressure in the BAH trench.

II) BREAK DOWN MAINTENANCE of scrapper feeder A&B and clinker grinder A&B by engaging skilled labour, unskilled labour with qualified supervisor then and there. Relocating the dislocated chain links from idler wheels and main shaft sprocket, loosening the chain tension assembly, relocate the chain on main shaft sprocket, submersible idler wheels, Tension wheels & return side idler wheels, adjusting the chain tension and feeder put to service including consumables and T&P's.

Renewing the worn out Chains / Paddles connectors/ Bolts/ Flight bars after cutting the existing paddles connectors / bolts including consumables and T&P's.

Cutting and removing the elongated chain links in the scrapper feeder after cutting the connector bolts and reassembling the chain links and paddles connectors including consumables and T&P's.

Dismantling the submerged Idler wheels, inspection of bearings, shafts, oil seals and replacement of bearings, shafts, oil seals if necessary and reassembling including consumables and T&P's.

Removing the 1 No of worn out chain tension adjustment assembly and erection of 1 No new chain tension adjustment assembly in SCF lifting the driven shaft assembly by jockey on both free end, arresting with proper supports. Removing and re-fixing the Plummer block and then assembling & aligning the driven shaft assembly after completion of 1 No chain tension adjustment assembly erection work including consumables and T&P's.

Dismantling the faulty Jacky rod and assembling new rod / spare rod retrieved from standby feeder by lifting the tension wheel assembly including consumables and T&P's.

Dismantling the existing worn out return side/ carrying side idler wheel and replacing the new / reconditioned wheel including consumables and T&P's.

Removing gear box top covers, cleaning the gear teeth, renewal of pinion shaft and topping & refilling oil including consumables and T&P's

Filling the worn out portion of sprocket teeth with special welding electrode (Bronzed) including dismantling, re-fixing the drive chain and surface preparation consumables and T&P's.
