Repairing/arresting of leakage of the 100mm dia: G.I rising main by way of cleaning of the surface of the earth from bushes and other unwanted grass, then excavating of earth around the pipe for considerable length, width and depth by manual means, so that the spot of leakage is freely accessible and the job can be easily executed. The job includes cutting of the 100mm dai. G.I pipe around at considerable length from the 8mm thick flange joint by mechanical means. Then unscrewing the Nuts/bolts of the 8mm thick flanges of the pipe at the particular joint. The job includes reaffixing of the new rubber washer of appropriate thickness in between the flanges and then retightening the Nuts/Bolts back at its position. The job includes realignment of the flanges with proper surfacing. The job includes strengthening of welding joint of the flanges by way of further welding. Then the cutted ends of 100mm dia G.I pipe are rejoined with each other by way of electric arc welding with specific gauge of welding electrodes. The job includes testing of the pipe for any leakages. The job includes hire charges of the generator to be used at site of work. The job includes refilling of the excavated earth back over the pipe and around it. The tools/tackles/men and machinery are to be arranged by the firm at the site including transportation charges.
