REPAIRS PAINTING TO CERTAIN STEEL FURNITURE UNDER GE MAINT INF SCHOOL MHOW

Amount

(A) Removal of following existing unserviceable steel components of various MES F/DB/FD/TP/MAP furniture items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, screwing, weldging, glueing, providing hinges,denting, placing everypart in-tact , as applicable as per drgs (B) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE (MIS) Mhow including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Almirah Large Steel : FD-67 / 1031/ FD/E6/MAP/18

a) Removing of unserviceable lock without damaging the adjacent parts of almirah large steel and S&F new brass lever lock of size 65 mm with duplicate keys to almirah large steel (Make : Godrej/Hetich/Harrison/LICO/Rina/Nova) 6 lever complete all as directed and as shown in drg.

b) Removing of old unserviceable handle without damaging the adjacent parts of almirah large steel and S & F new steel CP handle 125 mm long of approved quality all as specified and directed

c) Taking out unserviceable broken legs from Almirah large steel and S&F new legs made out of 1 mm MS sheet duly painted suitable for almirah large steel & welded accordingly complete all as directed and as shown on drg.

d) Repairs to door as specified including Taking out unserviceable hinges S&F new hinges of reqd size as per drg.

e) Repair to existing shelf including welding/Adjustment/fixing of the existing loose shelves by providing new clamps, cleats, screws etc removing unserviceable clamps all as directed

f) Taking out unserviceable shutters/Covers and S&F almirah large steel new shutters/covers made out of 1mm MS sheet including locking device duly painted made to required size and shape as per drawing suitable for three way locking device and fixed with suitable size of MS Screws complete all as directed.

g) Taking out old unserviceable/damaged shelves of almirah large steel and S&F new shelves duly painted made out of 1mm MS sheet bent to required shape and fixing the same properly in position complete all as directed

Almirah Medium / Small Steel : FD-67/104/114/115/243/1032/1034

a) Removing of unserviceable lock without damaging the adjacent parts of almirah medium steel and S&F new brass lever lock of size 65 mm with duplicate keys to almirah medium steel (Make : Godrej/Hetich/Harrison/LICO/Rina/Nova) 6 lever complete all as directed and as shown in drg.

b) Removing of old unserviceable handle without damaging the adjacent parts of almirah medium steel and S & F new steel CP handle 125 mm long of approved quality all as specified and directed

e) Welding works wherever required as directed by E-in-Incharge

f) Repair to existing shelf including welding/Adjustment/fixing of the existing loose shelves by providing new clamps, cleats, screws etc removing unserviceable clamps all as directed

g) Taking out old unserviceable/damaged shelves of almirah large steel and S&F new shelves duly painted made out of 1mm MS sheet bent to required shape and fixing the same properly in position complete all as directed

Locker Steel : FD-1029/257

(a) Removing old unserviceable broken handle from locker bed side steel without damaging adjacent parts of locker bed side steel and S&F new CP steel handle 100 mm long of approved quality complete all as specified and directed

(b) Removing old unserviceable hasp and staple damaging the adjacent parts of locker bed side steel and S&F new hasp and staple chromiun plated of suitable size complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

(c) Repairs to door as specified including Taking out unserviceable hinges S&F new hinges of reqd size as per drg.

d) Removing of unserviceable lock without damaging the adjacent parts of almirah medium steel and S&F new brass lever lock of size 65 mm with duplicate keys to almirah medium steel (Make : Godrej/Hetich/Harrison/LICO/Rina/Nova) 6 lever complete all as directed and as shown in drg.

(e)Taking out unserviceable broken legs from locker bed side steel and S&F new legs made out of 1 mm MS sheet duly painted suitable to locker bed side steel & welded accordingly complete all as specified and directed.

(f) Taking out unserviceable conduit pipe and S&F new CP conduit pipe 20 mm dia of 1.6 mm thick as per drawing.

g) Removing unserviceable locking device and S&F new locker bed side steel locking device of 10 mm dia including MS Rod and brass shackles duly painted complete with fixing accessories duly painted complete all as shown in drawing and as specified and directed

h) welding wherever required as directed by EIC

Teapoy Varandah : FD-35/208/383/255

a) Removing of unserviceable shoe and S & F new hard rubber shoes as per drawing

b) Removing old u/s broken top and S&F new Top of suitable size shall be made of 18/19 mm thick Prelaminated MDF Board exterior grade ( Make-Century/Greenply/Action tesa) ISI marked confirming to IS-14587 Grade-I one side with approved shade and balancing white lamination on other side with standerd PVC edging all around and headless nails all round the edges all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

c) Removing old u/s 20 mm thick MS bar and S&F new 20 mm thick MS bar welded to each leg and one centre stiffner provided including weldging works wherever required complete as directed by EIC

Table Bed Side : FD/E6/MAP/15 (R) / FD/MAP/07

a) Removing of old u/s handles of lower drawer and S&F new handles of lower drawer all as specified and as shown in drawing

b)Removing old u/s side of table bed side and S&F new Side of suitable size made of 18/19 mm thick Prelaminated MDF Board exterior grade (Make: Green Ply /Century/Action Tesa)) ISI marked confirming to IS-14587 Grade-I one side with approved shade and balancing white lamination on other side complete all as specified and directed

c) Removing of old u/s top of table bed side and S&F new 18mm thick Prelaminated MDF Board exterior grade ( Make-Century/Greenply/Action tesa) shall be provided on top of table complete all as specifed and as shown in drawing.

d) Removing old u/s top drawer of table bed side and S&F new Top drawer of suitable size made of 18/19 mm thick Prelaminated MDF Board exterior grade (Make: Green Ply /Century/Action Tesa) ISI marked confirming to IS-14587 Grade-I one side with approved shade and balancing white lamination on other side and in front side with 12mm BWR grade plywood (Make: Greenply/Century/Archidply) in thrree sides including provision of telescopic channel of suitable size of approved quality, and 6mm BWR plywood (Make: Greenply/Century/Archidply) as bottom along with Chromium Plated handles with all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Plywood shall be of BWR Grade ISI Marked confirming to IS-303.

e) Removing of old u/s PVC rubber shoes and S&F new PVC shoes of superior quality all as specifed and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

f) Removing of old u/s legs of table bed side and S&F new legs made of 18 mm MS Square pipe 18 G thick black colour powder coated all as specifed and and as shown in drawing

Table Office Officer Steel : FD-84/ 1003/1002

a) Taking out unserviceable leg and S&F new leg made out of MS conduit pipe 25 mm dia of 1.6 mm thick as per drawing duly painted and as specifed and as shown in drawing

b) Removing the existing unserviceable locks of table office officer steel and S&F new lock (Make : Godrej/Hetich/Harrison/Lico/Rina) 5 lever of suitable size with duplicate keys complete all as specified and directed

c) Repairs to Drawers/Shutters as specified including tinkering/denting, welding etc and Taking out unserviceable hinges S&F new hinges of reqd size as per drg all as specified and as shown in drawing

d) Removing the existing unserviceable Stiffeners of table office officer steel and S&F new stiffeners made out of MS conduit pipe 25 mm dia of 1.6 mm thick as per drg duly painted and as specifed and as shown in drawing

e) Removing of old u/s PVC rubber shoes and S&F new PVC shoes of superior quality all as specifed and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

f) Welding the joints of legs / square tube etc wherever required by Engr-in-charge as per drg

g) Removing old u/s broken top of table office officer steel and S&F new table Top of suitable size shall be made of 18mm thick Prelaminated MDF Board exterior grade (Make-Century/Greenply/Action tesa) ISI marked confirming to IS-14587 Grade-I one side with approved shade and balancing white lamination on other side with fevicol and headless nails all round the edges all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Table 3x2 with and w/o drawer : FD-1007/1008

a) Welding wherever required as directed by E-in-Incharge

b) Removing old u/s broken top and S&F new table Top of suitable size shall be made of 18/19 mm thick Prelaminated MDF Board exterior grade (Make: Green Ply /Century/Action Tesa) ISI marked confirming to IS-14587 Grade-I one side with approved shade and balancing white lamination on other side with standerd pvc edging and headless nails all round the edges all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

c) Repairs to Drawer include tinkering/denting, painting, welding, etc.all as per drg all as specified and as shown in drawing

d) Removing of old u/s PVC rubber shoes and S&F new PVC shoes of superior quality all as specifed and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

e) Removing the existing unserviceable locks of table 3X2 and S&F new lock (Make : Godrej/Hetich/Harrison/Lico/Rina/Nova) 5 lever of suitable size with duplicate keys complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

Charpoy IP Hard Top : FD/MAP-II/01, FD/MAP/04

a) Removing old u/s top and S&F plywood (Make: Greenply/Century/Archidply) top of suitable size 12mm thick BWR Grade ISI Marked confirming to IS-303 of Charpoy with Hard top as per existing shape and size with 8 Nos shunken nut/bolts,appropriate hole shall be made with elecrtic drill machine complete rest all as drg and as directed

b) Removing of old u/s PVC rubber shoes and S&F new PVC shoes of superior quality all as specifed and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

c) Welding the joints of legs / square tube etc wherever required by Engr-in-charge as per drg

Bed Hard Officer : FD/E6/MAP/8(R), HFD-2001

a) Removing old u/s top and S&F new top of plywood (Make: Greenply/Century/Archidply) top 12mm thick BWR Grade ISI Marked confirming to IS-303 of Bed plywood (Make: Greenply/Century/Archidply) made to shape & size as shown on drawings, with 9 nos shunken nut/bolts, appropriate holes shall be made with electric drill machine complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

b) Removing of old u/s PVC rubber shoes and S&F new PVC shoes of superior quality all as specifed and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

c) Removing old u/s particle board of headrest/foot rest and S&F new headrest/foot rest made of 18/19 mm thick Prelaminated MDF Board exterior grade I (Make: Green Ply /Century/Action Tesa) ISI marked confirming to IS-14587 Grade-I with PVC Beading. All as directed by Engr-in-charge and shown on drawing.

Chair Writing Steel : FD-360

a) Removing old u/s broken Seat and back and S&F new Seat and back of suitable size shall be made of 75 & 50 mm thick respectively synthetic foam of 28 density fixed over wooden frame and it shall be covered with leatherised rexine of high quality all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge

b) Taking out old damaged/decayed Arms rest and S&F new Arm of size 60X25 mm rest made of 1st class teak wood complete all as per drg.

c) Removing of old u/s PVC rubber shoes and S&F new PVC shoes of superior quality all as specifed and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Rack steel Adj 3/6 tier : FD-106/129/1038

a) Welding wherever required as directed by E-in-Incharge

b) Repairs to shelves include tinkering/denting, welding, etc. all as shown, as specified & as directed by Engr-in-charge

Book case steel : FD-90/1028

a) Removing old unserviceable glass pane and S&F new glass pane 3 mm thick (Make: Modiguard/Atul/Saint gobain) all as specifed and as shown in drg

b) Removing old unserviceable stainless steel handle and S&F new Stainless handle all as specified and as shown in drawing

c) Repairs to shelves/door include tinkering/denting, welding, etc. all as shown, as specified & as directed by Engr-in-charge

d) Removing the existing unserviceable locks of Book case steel and S&F new lock (Make : Godrej/Hetich/Harrison/Lico/Rina/Nova/Kodia) of suitable lever and suitable size with duplicate keys complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

Chair Verandah : FD-19,256,259 FD-359/FD/MAP-II/15, FD/MAP-II/06, FD/MAP/12, FD/MAP/11

a) Removing the existing unserviceable legs and S& F new Legs , each one piece made of MS conduit pipe 16G, 19mm dia including painting with two coats of synthetic white enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer as per drg.

b) Welding joints of leg of 19/20mm MS tube & other joints as per drg as directed by EIC

c) Removing of old u/s PVC rubber shoes and S&F new PVC shoes of superior quality all as specifed and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

d) M&L for preparation of old painted iron & steel surfaces of chair verandah by scraping & rubbing down with sand paper, removing dents & scratches, if any filling the same with paste fillet and spray painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint(1st grade quality) over a coat of red oxide primer complete after preparation of surface all as specified and as directed by Engr-in Charge and Re- -canning of Chair Verandah with oval shape 4mm wide new plastic cane afterTaking down old unserviceable cane. Rest all as shown on drawing and as directed by the Eng-In- Charge.

(e) Provision of Stiffner of size 12 mm square pipe 18G x 16" with appropriate MS plate shall be welded below the seat of chairs for extra support to seat all as directed by EIC

f) Removing of old u/s PVC seat and S&F 4 mm thick new PVC sheet (Make:- Classic,Amko,cello,comfo/Harmony) of Chair Verandah complete all as shown on drawing and as directed by the Eng - in - Charge.

Chair writing : FD/E6/MAP/10, FD/E6/MAP/10(R) FD/E6/MAP/12

(a) Seat & Back:-Removing the existing old unserviceable seat and back & re-upholestering with new fabric containing material like Acrylic polyester, poly viscose, poly propylene of colour ( range not less than 300/RM) as approved by EIC/GE on PU foam of 50 mm thick and 50 density with PVC lipping all round fixed over 12 mm hot pressed BWR plywood all as specified in drawing

(b) Arm Rest : Removing the existing broken/ unserviceable handle from the chair and S&F new handle made out of Black Integral Skin Polyurethene reinforced with MS insert scratch and weather resistant to the chair in suitable pattern/model to match the original all as specified on drg and as directed by EIC/GE

(c) Preparation of old painted surface by scraping & rubbing and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (black) to MS tubular frame of chair writing steel.

(d) Taking out unserviceable/broken frame and S&F new frame as per drg duly painted as per drg and as directed by EIC

(e) Rubber Stopper : M & L for removing old/worn out rubber stopper and S & F new Rubber stopper of superior quality of suitable size complete all as specified and as directed

Chair computer : FD/E6/MAP/01

(a) Seat & Back : Removing the existing old unserviceable seat and back from the chair and re-upholestering with new fabric containing material like Acrylic polyester, poly viscose, poly propylene of colour as approved by GE on PU foam of 50 mm 50 density fixed over 12 mm BWR plywood with PVC lipping all around all as specified on drg and as directed by Engr in Charge. (Fabric shall be not less than rs. 350 per meter)

(b) Arm rest : Removing the existing broken/ unserviceable arm rest from the chair and S&F new handle made out of Black Integral Skin Polyurethene reinforced with MS insert scratch and weather resistant to the chair in suitable pattern/model to match the original all as specified on drg and as directed by Engr in Charge.

(c) Gas lifting Hydraulic System : Removing the existing unserviceable Gas lifting Hydraulic System of various types from the Chair. Supply and fix new maintenance free, environmental friendly, chrome free cylinder tube fixed in a M.S. black powder coated with outer central column tube 38 mm dia and 2 mm thick having 100 mm storke length with gas pressure of 300 n force Gas lifting Hydraulic System to the chair in suitable pattern/model to match in original all as specified on drg and as directed by Engr in Charge.

(d) Twin Castor Wheel : Removing the existing unserviceable or broken castor wheel and S&F New Castor wheel to the chair in suitable pattern/model to match the original all as specified on drg and as directed by Engr in Charge.

(e) M & L for welding to broken steel frame of Chair computer

(f) Bottom Base : Removing the existing unserviceable or worn out bottom base from the Chair. Supply and fix new Base to the chair in suitable pattern/model to match the original all as specified on drg and as directed by Engr in Charge.

Table computer : FD/E6/MAP/03

a) Removing old u/s broken top and S&F new table Top of suitable size shall be made of 18mm thick Prelaminated MDF Board exterior grade ( Make-Century/Greenply/Action tesa) ISI marked confirming to IS-14587 Grade-I one side with approved shade and balancing white lamination on other side with fevicol duly polish with a coat of high glossy french polish complete and headless nails all round the edges all as specified and directed shall be provided on top of table complete.Rest all as per drg

(b) Removing of old broken drawer with telescopic channel from existing table computer and providing new drawer 75mm deep made of 18mm thick pre-laminated MDF board bonded with phenol fomaldehyde synthetic resin, exterior grade I, one side with approved shade and balancing with lamination on other side alongwith Telescopic channel of required shape and size complete all as directed.

(c) Removing of old broken key board tray with telescopic channels from existing computer table and providing new key board tray of 18mm thick pre-laminated MDF board bonded with phenol fomaldehyde synthetic resin, exterior grade I, one side with approved shade and balancing with lamination on other side with including teak wood beading of 4mm x 18mm size fixed with Fevicol and Panel Pin and duly given a coat of high glossy french polish matching to existing surfaces alongwith Telescopic channel of required shape and size complete all as directed.

(d) Removing of old broken mouse tray with telescopic channel from existing table computer and providing new mouse tray made of 18mm thick pre-laminated MDF board bonded with phenol fomaldehyde synthetic resin, exterior grade I , one side with approved shade and balancing with including teak wood beading of 4mm x 18mm size fixed with Fevicol and Panel Pin and duly given a coat of high glossy french polish matching to existing surfaces lamination on other side alongwith Telescopic channel of required shape and size complete all as directed.

e) Removing old u/s side/partion and S&F new Side/partion made of 18/19 mm thick prelaminated MDF Board (Make : Greenlam/Century/Action Tesa) ISI marked confirming to IS-14587 Grade-I,Type-I of shade as approved by GE.

f) M&L for preparation of old painted iron & steel surfaces of table computer by scraping & rubbing down with sand paper, removing dents & scratches, if any filling the same with paste fillet and spray painting two coas of synthetic enamel paint(1st grade quality) over a coat of red oxide primer complete after preparation of surface all as specified and directed by Engr-in Charge.

Table Office Clerk Steel : FD-84/1004

(a) Removing old u/s broken top of table office clerk steel and S&F new table Top of suitable size shall be made of 18/19 mm thick Prelaminated MDF Board exterior grade (Make: Green Ply /Century/Action Tesa/) ISI marked confirming to IS-14587 Grade-I one side with approved shade and balancing white lamination on other side with standerd PVC edging/wooden edging all around and headless nails all round the edges all as specified and directed and as per drawing

Chair CBA Special with hand rest : FD-120(M)(R)

(a) Taking down old unserviceable cane of seat and back and Re- -canning of seat and back of Chair CBA special with handrest with oval shape 2 mm wide new plastic cane make as approved by GE- Rest all as shown on drawing and as directed by the Eng-In- Charge.

(b) Removing old unserviceable wooden plank and S&F new hand rest made of 12 mm thick 1st class teak wood all as specified and shown on drg.

(c) Taking down old unserviceable shoes and S & F new hard rubber shoes superior quality to leg of chairCBA special with hand rest complete all as specified and directed.

Chair Steel Tubular with arms : FD-75(M)

(a) Taking out old damaged/decayed seat & back of chair CB steel with Arms and S&F new seats and back of shisham wood duly shaped and finished alround duly canned with 2mm wide and 0.4 mm thick half round and border with 3 mm wide plastic cane of half round in true Godrej pattern complete with two coats of required shade of paint over a coat of wood primer all as specified and shown on drg .

(b) Taking out old damaged/decayed Arms rest and S&F new Arm rest made of good quality wood complete all as per drg.

(c) Taking out old unserviceable shoe from its posn and S&F new top shoe best quality in the same position complete all as specified and directed.

(d) Taking out old unserviceable top cap from its posn and S&F new top cap best quality in the same position complete all as specified and directed.

(e) S&F flat iron 25mmx5mm and 50 cm long to steel frame below seat to support of wooden seat duly welded and painted to steel frame complete all as specified and directed.

(f) M&L for welding to damaged/decayed steel frames of chair CB Steel with Arms complete all as specified and directed.

(g) M&L for painting to steel frame of old painted surface by derusting/scrubbing/dusting/scraping & rubbing and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint to MS tubular frame of chair steel tubular with arms complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting one coat of synthetic enamel paint of contrast colour / Hammertone finish or approved shade as directed both internally & externally through spray gun machine to the following furniture articles after preparation of surfaces as reqd. All are of MES pattern viz F/FD/DB/MAP series or Similar items including removing of dents, applying putty to level the surface before painting, all as specified and shown on drgs and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/Md accns of GE(MIS) Mhow including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge
