81833 REPAIRS TO ROAD AND ROAD FURNITURE AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AT NDA UNDER AGE B/R-I OF GE (NDA) KHADAKWASLA.

IMPORTANT NOTES : (i) Contractor are requested to note that IRI Value test (Road Roughness) as mentioned in Schedule 'A' Notes on Ser. Page No. 19 of Tender documents against Phase-I will be carried out before execution and after completion of BM / DAC / SDAC. (ii) The quoted rates for the IRI value test is deemed to be included against the relevant BOQ items for BM / DAC / SDAC. (iii) No extra cost / amount will be admissible on this account.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces of road brushing by wire brushes for cleaning and removing cacked mud, existing layer of thermoplastic paint etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the clean surface with gunny bags and pressure compressor to remove all loose dust/dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminious primer VG-10 grade @ 2.5 Kg /10Sqm on black top surface with mechanical sprayer operated by hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm and depth/deep exc 50mm but not exc 100mm and removing scarified material to a distance not exc. 50 M and stacking wherever directed complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for premixed bituminous macadam with paving bitumen (VG-30 grade) using binder content 4% by weight of total mix (Job Mix) laid / rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete using paving bitumen (VG-30 grade), 30 mm thick (Consolidated thickness) using binder content @ 5.5% by weight of total mix (Job mix), using mechanical paver rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller & compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. [Note for Ser. Item No 5.00 & 6.00 above : (i) The actual binder content for BM / SDAC used shall be as per optimised content based on approved job mix formula irrespective of what ever indicated in Schedule Item. (ii) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of work in patch manner]

M&L for repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of potholes not exc 30 mm complete all a specified and directed. (Note :- The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of work in patch manner)

M & L for preparation of new / old road surfaces road and applying Thermoplastic reflective paint for making 2.5mm thick centre lines and edge line, zebra crossing, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and road marking of 150mm /100 mm width using "Hot Application" of colour white or golden yellow by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as blinder, glass beads pigments such as Titanium dioxide calcium carbonate inter filler, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be conforming to MORTH specification BS 3262-1989 including spraying of glass beads etc all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and as directed. (NOTE : The sample and make of cat eye solar reflective type are to be approved by GE as per the ground requirement, before procurement by Contractor.)

Supply and fix solar cat eye (solar road stud) aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed.
