ARA Terminal blocks with links made of PBT Spec No.s/75/2006 (Rev - 2 ) with latest amendments and RDSO Drg.No.SA-23741A Alt.4.

Fixing of ARA Terminals /Screw less connectors and fuse blocks on phenolic laminated 6 sheets and fixing by stainless steel/brass nuts & bolts. This includes provision of two additional holes on the board on either side for cable conductor entry.

Termination of outdoor cables, main cables laid in location boxes, Cable termination rack etc. at both ends on ARA terminal or on 8 way terminals or on screw less connectors. Both ends 7 of a cable core terminated shall be counted as one terminal. This includes all associated works of pulling out the cable from underground, peeling off insulation, dressing of cable core supported on sting rod with contractor's own material. The work shall be done as per instructions of Rly engineer at site.

Providing brick masonry in ratio 1:6 cement and mortar including plastering with 1:4 8 cement a n d sand mixture both sides, 2 0 m m thick each with contractor's owned class I I bricks, including excavation, curing, grouting, bolting etc. wherever required. Bricks sand and cement to be supplied by the contractor.

Cement concrete work f o r miscellaneous items i n the ratio 1 : 3 : 6 . Item includes excavation, ramming, curing and plastering with cement & sand mixture (aggregate not exceeding 3.8 cm.) (Aggregate cement & sand to be supplied by the contractor).

Earthwork in filling in embankment, guide bunds, around buried type abutments, bridge gaps, trolley refuges, rain bunds if provided, platforms etc. with earth excavated from outside railway boundary entirely arranged by the contractor at his own cost as per RDSO's latest guidelines 10 a n d specifications a n d special condition of contract including a l l leads, royalty, lifts, ascents, descents, crossing of nallahs or any other obstructions. The rates shall include all dressing of bank to final profile, demarcation a n d setting o u t o f profile, site clearance, removing o f shrubs, roots of vegetation growth, heavy grass, benching o f existing slope o f old bank, all handling/re-handling. Taxes, Octroi and royalty etc. as a complete job. Cut trees shall b e property of railways and t o be deposited in the railway godown unless specified otherwise in the Special conditions of contract.

Fabrication and fixing o f SMC sheet i n location box by providing all fixtures a s per 16 Railway Drawing including fixing of PVC coated string rods a t the back side for cable support with contractor's own materials. The work shall be done as per Drg and arrangement similar to SK 783- 1/2. With latest alterations & as per instructions of Rly engineer at site. Note: SMC sheet will be taken in place of phenolic laminated sheet.

Painting of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer on the following after scraping & cleaning surface wherever necessary with contractor's own supply of paints. Wherever required contractor shall apply coating of epoxy paint also as per instructions of site-in- charge. Epoxy paint will be supplied by Railways. NOTE: - The paint and primer should be from Asian Paints/ Nerolac / Dulux / Berger. The primer / enamel paints (Aluminum synthetic, black enamel, brilliant white and yellow) will be as per (IS 5660 of 1970) / (IS 2932 of 1974).

In case 1m depth of trench is not achievable due to site conditions, specific approval of JA grade officer will be required for each site where trench depth of 1m is not possible. The excavated soil shall be back filled after shifting of Location Boxes. Location box shall be shifted by push method with the help of jacks or by crane by contractors own expenditure under instructions of engineer in-charge at site. The work may affect train working hence the work shall be done as per margin only or during traffic block only.

Tracing of cable route for old buriedall type S&T cable including OFCwith accuracy +/-0.5 Meter, usingcontractors own Equipments & manPower and preparation of cableroute plan in reference to OHE Mast& Centre of Track on Hard and Softcopy. With GPS positioning of cableroute every 25 mtr or less.

Tracing & Securing buried underground S&T cables including OFC by team of minimum 5 persons with dedicated vehicle (MUV) in a team(minimum one technician/jointer),during Eng. digging work by JCB's -to provide supervisory work, such as marking, shifting, securing, 36 jointing,restoring etc. (Cable Joints & termination taken as separate schedule Item). Information for the deputing team for above work will be provided by Railway Engineer incharge 08 hours prior to requirement. They will pre checkroute and will do Chuna marking for digging work.Note-Necessary arrangement of Team / required material movement to the desired location as per instruction of engineer in charge to be provide bycontractor. The contractor needs to arrange "n" nos. of teams as per the Railway Requirement.

"Supply of HDPE Ducts 40/33 mm dia as per RDSO/SPN/TC/45/2013 , Rev. 2.0 37 ,Amendment 3.0 or latest. Each km / Bundle of HDPE duct should have 2 no End Plugs, 2 no Cables ealing plugs, 2 no plastic couplers(5-6 thread) slipfit/push fit type. {The duct should be supplied in accordance with the latest WR Telecom Policy, dated January 1, 2025 or latest. Each colour of duct shall be supplied as specified by the Engineer-in-Charge }."

Supply of 110 mm dia HDPE pipe.{ ISI Mark - IS no. 4984:2016 or the latest }.

Supply of Straight Joint Enclosures (SJC) complete with all accessories as per GR/OJC/02/02 Sept 2003 for 48 fiber, Make- Raychem - FOSC-400-B4-A-BJL-4-H -48 , 3M or Similar only, as per instruction and approval of Engineer In charge.

Supply of Thermo shrink Universal Jointing kit for Quad Cable (Straight/Derivation ) as 40 per RDSO IRS/TC-77/2012 revision 3 With latest Amd.

Transportation and Laying of HDPE pipe as per approved cable route plan in the excavated trench, taking due care while transporting and laying the same in the trenches or other protective works. Both the end of duct should be sealed with end plugs before laying.

Blowing of OFC through HDPE duct & protective work (elicited in above item) already provided. Where it is not feasible to blow OFC due to curves, road/track crossings, bridges or for any 42 other reason, OFC shall be drawn /laid manually as per standard procedure. All the equipments and machinery required shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. In case OFC is to be laid adopting 'Direct in trench' method then this item shall be paid as per accepted rate of item of this schedule. OFC and HDPE pipe shall be supplied by the railway.

Preparation, splicing, making and installation of OFC straight through joints with 43 enclosure/ LIU termination. Splicing should be done by trained person, the losses shall not exceed beyond the prescribed limit. If losses exceed the prescribed limit, the contractor have to re-splice free of cost.

Transporation and laying of 6 Quad/PIJF cables in Trenches/ GI pipe/RCC pipe/DWC pipe, Trunking etc as per approved cable route Plan and instruction of Site Engineer.

Tracing of cable route for old buriedall type S&T cable including OFCwith accuracy +/-0.5 Meter, usingcontractors own Equipments & manPower and preparation of cableroute plan in reference to OHE Mast& Centre of Track on Hard and Softcopy. With GPS positioning of cableroute every 25 mtr or less.

Tracing & Securing buried underground S&T cables including OFC by team of minimum 5 persons with dedicated vehicle (MUV) in a team(minimum one technician/jointer),during Eng. digging work by JCB's -to provide supervisory work, such as marking, shifting, securing, 41 jointing,restoring etc. (Cable Joints & termination taken as separate schedule Item). Information for the deputing team for above work will be provided by Railway Engineer incharge 08 hours prior to requirement. They will pre checkroute and will do Chuna marking for digging work.Note-Necessary arrangement of Team / required material movement to the desired location as per instruction of engineer in charge to be provide bycontractor. The contractor needs to arrange "n" nos. of teams as per the Railway Requirement.

"Supply of HDPE Ducts 40/33 mm dia as per RDSO/SPN/TC/45/2013 , Rev. 2.0 42 ,Amendment 3.0 or latest. Each km / Bundle of HDPE duct should have 2 no End Plugs, 2 no Cables ealing plugs, 2 no plastic couplers(5-6 thread) slipfit/push fit type. {The duct should be supplied in accordance with the latest WR Telecom Policy, dated January 1, 2025 or latest. Each colour of duct shall be supplied as specified by the Engineer-in-Charge }."

Supply of 110 mm dia HDPE pipe.{ ISI Mark - IS no. 4984:2016 or the latest }.

Supply of Straight Joint Enclosures (SJC) complete with all accessories as per GR/OJC/02/02 Sept 2003 for 48 fiber, Make- Raychem - FOSC-400-B4-A-BJL-4-H -48 , 3M or Similar only, as per instruction and approval of Engineer In charge.

Supply of Thermo shrink Universal Jointing kit for Quad Cable (Straight/Derivation ) as per RDSO IRS/TC-77/2012 revision 3 With latest Amd.

Transportation and Laying of HDPE pipe as per approved cable route plan in the excavated trench, taking due care while transporting and laying the same in the trenches or other protective works. Both the end of duct should be sealed with end plugs before laying.

Blowing of OFC through HDPE duct & protective work (elicited in above item) already provided. Where it is not feasible to blow OFC due to curves, road/track crossings, bridges or for any 47 other reason, OFC shall be drawn /laid manually as per standard procedure. All the equipments and machinery required shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. In case OFC is to be laid adopting 'Direct in trench' method then this item shall be paid as per accepted rate of item of this schedule. OFC and HDPE pipe shall be supplied by the railway.

Preparation, splicing, makingand installation of OFC straight through joints with 48 enclosure/ LIU termination.Splicing should be done by trained person, the losses shall not exceed beyond the prescribed limit. If losses exceed the prescribed limit, the contractor have to re-splice free of cost.

Transporation and laying of 6 Quad/PIJF cables in Trenches/ GI pipe/RCC pipe/DWC pipe, Trunking etc as per approved cable route Plan and instruction of Site Engineer.

Execution of Straight/Derivation/EC Joint on Quad/PIJF Cables as per instruction by site engineer.

Siding in Loco Yard

Excavation and Casting of Apparatus Case foundation with contractor's own materials including

Item- 14 cement and anchor bolts of standard size. The required scaffolding Ferma etc. for Casting of

foundation will have to be brought by the contractor at his own cost.
