"Collection of hydrometeorological data, as Each mentioned below, for one monsoon period (4 Bridge months/123 days /15th June to 15thOctober) a) Recording of rainfall data every hour at the three locations [one on U/S, one at the catchment area andone on D/S]; b) Soundings around piers and abutments during and after high floods; c) Gauge readings of flood level during monsoon; d)Observations of afflux andvelocity during monsoon; Theabove data to be collected asper Para 711 & 712 of theIndian Railway Bridge manualand in accordance to theinstruction of the Engineer- in- charge. The Data collectedshould be submitted in Softcopy (in CD/Pendrive) andhardcopy (5 copies each) inthe form of annexures in accordance with Indian Railway Bridge Manual.
