CLEANING AND REPAIRS TO WATER TANKS, SANITARY FITTINGS AND GI PIPES LINES AND OTHER MISC REPAIRS IN TECH AREA AT AFS UNDER GE (AF) JORHAT

S&F as in repairs rotational moulded polyethylene (HDPE) water storage tank of size 500 litre capacity (cylindrical vertical with closed top), black in colour, three layered construction, hoisted and fixed in position all specified in MES Schedule Part-I, including dismantling of old existing water storage tank with float valve of any description complete all as specified and as approved.

All as per serial item No. 1 here-in-before but water storage tank of size 1000 litre capacity.

M&L for cleaning and degermination inside the RCC/PVC water storage tanks of capacity not exceeding 500 ltr of any description and in any position comprising the following seven stage cleaning and sterilization of water tanks through bacteriological treatment by using TERBAC G5/ INCHLOR-5/NB-10, TERBAC G65 /INOXI-60 / NB-69 and ultra violet rays complete all as specified. (a) 1st Stage : Drain out the water by using exit valve or with high capacity dewatering system or any suitable method approved by Engr-in-Charge. (b) 2nd Stage : Cleaning all the algae formation inside the tank by using TERBAC G10/ INCHLOR-5/NB-10 ( a laboratory branded chemical) and scrubbing the walls of the tanks. (c) 3rd Stage : Cleaning with fresh water by high speed jet pump with pressure of PSI. (d) 4th Stage : Sterilization by using TERBAC G10 / INCHLOR-5/NB-10 (a laboratory certified branded halogen compound) for first bacteria screening.

(e) 5th Stage : Cleaning the floor of the water tank by heavy duty industrial vaccum cleaner. (f) 6th Stage : Sterilizing method by using ultra violet ray ejector covering 360 degree with in the tank and kills all suspended bacteria for 2nd bacteria screening. (g) 7th stage : Cleaning and sterilize the floor to the water by using laboratory certified branded strong oxidizing agent TERBAC G65 /INOXI-60 / NB-69 for third bacteria screening. Note :- (i) Test certificate of TERBAC G65 /INOXI-60 / NB-69 etc. from Govt Laboratory mentioning suitable for sterilization should be submitted to the Dept before using for sterilization. (ii) Cleaning of tank shall only be carried by the authorized service provider of the material used. Necessary approval shall be obtained for GE before cleaning of the tanks. (iii) After cleaning of the tank necessary completion certificate confirming the completion of sterilization of water tank shall be issued by the service provider and sticker shall be fixed on the tank duly mentioning the date of cleaning and name of site etc.

All as per Serial item No. 3 here-in-before but PVC water tank exc. 500 litre but not exc. 1000 litre capacity each.

All as per Serial item No. 3 here-in-before but RCC overhead tank exc 2000 litre but not exc. 5000 litre capacity each.

S&F as in repairs PVC water tank cover with hinges etc. for 500 litres capacity tank complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial item No. 6 here-in-before but for 1000 litres capacity tank.

S&F as in repairs PTMT ball valve, high pressure with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball, screwed for iron pipe of 15mm bore complete all as per specified and as directed.

All as per Serial item No. 8 here-in-before but 20mm bore.
