ROOF TREATMENT OF CERTAIN OTMS AND MD ACCN BUILDING AT AIR FORCE STATION PATHANKOT

Removal of any type of existing roof tratement in any number of layer up to original RCC roof top slab surface and disposal thereof upto 500 mtr, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Procedure of roof tratement:- (i) Clean the roof:- Clean the roof: M & L for preparation of surface by scrapping and properly cleaning the existing surface by removing loose/uneven particles with wire brushes and other tools, complete in all respect. Existing surface can be of mudphuska, old APP membrane, brick tiles etc. (ii) Make small repairs and rendering:- Filling the cracks with PU sealant wherever required. Plastering wherever required shall be measured and paid separately. Proper curing of the plastering to be ensured before further application. (iii) Applying of liquid water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab: Applying of liquid water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab: (a) Apply first coat Fiber reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with PU hybrid polymers and reinforcing acrylic fibers with Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 100-110, having minimum elongation of 350%, tensile strength 2.9 MPa and shall have crack bridging ability upto 2.5 mm and shall resist 10 bars of hydrostatic pressure reduce surface temperature upto 10 degree Celsius with 33% dilution as priming coat.

(b) Laying of fiber mesh of 0.3mm thickness weave in leno pattern having weight 45 gm/Sqm and pasting it properly with overlap of 50mm and allow it to dry. (c) Apply second of undiluted coat @ 0.450ltr/sqm. (d) Apply Third and final coat undiluted @ 0.450 ltr/Sqm as directed by Engr-in-Charge (iv) Ponding Test:- Ponding test shall be done after application of material Notes : (a) Application of water proofing treatment will be done by Authorised Applicator only/or in presence of auth rep. Certificate in this regard shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge. (b) Shifting/removing of of any wire/cable/AC unit or other any object as per site requirement and re-fixing the same if needed is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the conctractor. (c) Total removal of vegetation/creepers//small plants/roots from the top of the bldgs to facilitate the work of treatment is also deemed to be included in the rate of contractor.

M&L for 10mm thick cement rendering in CM 1:3 and finishing the surface even and smooth before application of priming coat complete, all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in copings etc and in similar works including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating and necessary form work complete, all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc complete all as specified and directed.

Brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 6 above but except bricks

S&F in repair 110mm dia PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length fixed to wall including clamps as required, complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering dubbing coat over damaged irregular surface of chajjas roof projections ceiling facia etc average 15mm thick in cm 1:4 over cement slurry coat thick @ 3 Kg/sqm making the surface even followed by 5mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 furnished even& smooth including applying two coats of weather proof emultion paint incl making of drip course as reqd complete incl roughening surface of old concrete by picking sweeping clean and washing with water, complete all as specified and directed. Note :Rate for form work if required to be including in the rate quaoted by the contractor.

Disconnection existing water tanks of capacity exc 250Ltr and Not exc 500 Ltr, settting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning of tanks, etc and hoisting if required reconnecting and re fexing in the same position complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnection existing water tanks of capacity exc 500 Ltr and Not exc 1000 Ltr, settting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning of tanks, etc and hoisting if required reconnecting and re fexing in the same position complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Rotational moulded polyethene water storage tanks of capacity 500 litres, (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position including necessary GI fittings, inlet/outlet washout, overflow pieces long nipples, checknuts & washer ,brass valve 20mm high pressure with polythene float and fly nut etc complete including dismantling existing water tank, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Rotational moulded polyethiene water storage tanks of capacity 1000 litres, (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position including necessary GI fittings, inlet/outlet washout, overflow pieces long nipples, checknuts & washer ,brass valve 20mm high pressure with polythene float and fly nut etc complete including dismantling existing water tank all as specified.

Taking up or down 15mm bore steel tubing and connection including cleaning for re-fixing or removal to store complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Steel water tubing medium grade galvanised with all fittings including short lengths, fixed to walls, concealed in wall and ceiling or laid in floor complete with all fittings (such as bends, elbows, Tee, short pieces, connectors, back nuts, diminishing pieces, caps and plugs, unions etc.) of nominal bore dia 15mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Refixing old steel tubing and connections in new or old position with all fittings retrieved from taking down here-in-before and fixed (walls, ceiling, floors, etc.) of 15mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down 20mm bore steel tubing and connection including cleaning for re-fixing or removal to store complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Steel water tubing medium grade galvanised with all fittings including short lengths, fixed to walls, concealed in wall and ceiling or laid in floor complete with all fittings (such as bends, elbows, Tee, short pieces, connectors, back nuts, diminishing pieces, caps and plugs, unions etc.) of nominal bore dia 20mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Refixing old steel tubing and connections in new or old position with all fittings retrieved from taking down here-in-before and fixed (walls, ceiling, floors, etc.) of 20mm dia complete all as specified and as directed.
