REPAIRS TO ROADS, PATHS, CULVERT, HARD STANDING ALONGWITH ROAD FURNITURE AND SIGN BOARD AT CGDHQ-10 UNDER GE (I) CAMPBELL BAY

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and depth exc 50 mm and not exc 100mm and segregation serviceable / unserviceable gravels, keep them for stacking and removing unserviceable materials from site of work complete all as directed.

M&L 75 mm thick(Compacted thickness) WBM with limestone, sand stone etc, coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) , spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required using 8-10 ton power road roller complete all as specified.

All as per Ser item No 2 herein before but except materials complete all as directed. (Note :- Serviceable /useable stone aggregate shall be obtained from item No 1 herein before for reuse).

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming ( including supply of road metal ) but making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L preparing surfaces of WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly priming /tack coat with bitumen primer (paving bituminious grade VG-10) @ 10 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 25 mm thick consolidated thickness @ 5.50% binder (paving bitumen grade 30 (VG-30) content by weight of total mixed in mechanical and hot mix plant and pre-mixed materials laid with mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-10 ton power roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified.

M&L premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen Gde VG-30 any penetration content @ 4% by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8-12 ton power road roller and rolled to a uniform smoth surface (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete all as specified.

M&L applying retro reflected thermoplastic road marking paint white/yellow colour pattern as specified strips,3 mm thick,width or girth as per manufacturer's instructions on black top surfaces of road including cleaning of road surface,free from dust and moisture and putting in glass beads of standard size by dropping method complete all as specified

Dismantling of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors aprons,cills etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar and removing materials from site of work complete all as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floor and paving n.exc 15cm below or above ground level including removal of demolished materials from work site complete all as specified and as directed

M & L 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in sub base/floor, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for chequered cement concrete tiles 20 cm x 20 cm x 25 mm thick conforming to IS-13801-1993with grey cement and pigments, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors including 20mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40mm graded aggregate) as in flooring as hardstanding complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F sign board having shape of circle 600mm dia made out of 3mm thick aluminium composite panel bounded with white full ratro reflective sheeting of Nikkalite brand,crystal grade (CRG) having pressure sensitive adhesive and a retro reflective or screen printed ink,transparent red colour border of size 70/45mm and black colour cut out of symbols of non reflective sheeting (Vinyl) having pressure sensitive adhesive or screen printed symbols in black opaque colour fixed on 50x50x5mmx2.4m long MS angle post printed with two coat of synthetic enamel paint on one coat of primer as directed by Engineer-in -Charge.
