Taking down or removing the old unserviceable BER Diesel Engine driven Generating Set 415Volts 3 Phase 4 Wire of 300KVA capacity duly disconnecting all mechanical and electrical connections carefully without disturbing the existing infrastructure of installations or from existing foundations as directed and transported the same to MES Store Yard or any other locations as ordered by Engineer-in-charge complete all as directed.

Supply and install, connect, test and commission Diesel Engine driven Generator Set of capacity 320KVA / 256KW with diesel engine directly coupled through holset type coupling or close coupling in order to form a very compact arrangements and both units will be mounted on a rigid fabricated base plate along with standard automated AMF control panel with all accessories and shall comprise of the following items: (A) ENGINE Diesel Oil Engine direct injection, 4 stroke vertical in line cylinders, liquid cooled with specified shaft output after reduction of power for engine Auxiliaries and When operating at a governed speed of 1500 RPM at NTP condition. The engine is suitable for continuous duty and conforms to IS 10000 (except for HA 694 and turbo charged engines which confirm to BS 5514). The engine must be complete with all standard accessories and fittings as detailed below. 1. Flywheel and flywheel housing 2. 24 V DC electric start arrangement 3. (B) ALTERNATOR:- Self – excited, self – regulated, screen protected, drip proof alternator with static excitation system, capable of developing rated output at 415V, 0.8 p.f. 50 Hz when running at 1500 RPM at NTP conditions and conforms to the IS 4722 standards. MAKES OF ALTERNATOR :- KIRLOSKAR GREEN / STAMFORD / GREAVES COTTON (C) AUTO MAIN FAILURE (AMF) PANEL : AMF Panel made out of 2mm thick CRCA sheet, powder coated of conforming to IS 8623 totally enclosed dust and vermin proof with front and rear openings of 415 Volts, 3 phase, 4 wire AC 50Hz having aluminium bus bar capacity required to carry current at 110% load of 320 KVA DG set with three phase and neutral colour coded, pre-wired with copper flexible cable be all as specified with the following accessories, control cable from Gen set to AMF panel: (a) MCCB, FP, 630Amp, Icu = 36KA, Ics = 100% Icu with microprocessor release and adjustable overload setting (minimum 70% to 100%) and fixed magnetic setting - 02 Nos (for both switches) MAKE:- ABB (T-Max) / Siemens (3VT) / L&T (D-Sine) / Legrand (DPX) (b) Suitable CTs for both the supplies (c) Push buttons (d) Indication lamps (e) 2 over load + earth leakage relay

The silent canopy shall be of nut bolt type construction. Powder coating is done after seven-tank surface preparation process of sheet metal. Canopy panel and doors shall have inside lining of FIRE-RETARDANT foam as acoustic material.

(E) BASE FRAME:- Base frame is fabricated in sheet metal. The base frame is rugged in construction and designed for mounting engine and alternator close coupled, with cross members mounted on AVM. The base frame shall have provision for mounting of acoustic enclosure. The base frame is having provision of lifting hook for convenient lifting of complete set, i.e., along with canopy, engine and alternator. (F) FUEL TANK:- Removable fuel tank with 8 hours full load running capacity fabricated out of CRCA MS sheet and is part of base frame. It is duly painted and fitted with inlet and outlet connections. Fuel tank can be easily removed for cleaning or any maintenance. (G) ACCESSORIES:- 1) 2 Nos 120AH 12V Battery 2) 1 set Battery leads 3) 1 No. Exhaust Expansion Bellow
