Part-1:-strengthening of road from Kattangudi-Pudhupatti road upto union limit KM 0/0-2/210(R-46)

Part-A : Construction

Clearing Scrub Jungle without alignment for the widening of the formation of the road cutting of trace up to 30mm girth products the cleaning are to be stocked in such a place as ordered by the departmental officer and the ground shall be left in a perfectly clean condition. All holes of hollows whether original, existing (or) produced by digging of roots shall than be carefully filled up the earth well rammed and leveled of and the entire work completed in all respect as per SI 17 (2).

Picking Existing old Bt surface upto 50 to 100cm thick include all cost and conveyance of materials etc,complete

Earth work excavation and depositing on back with an intial of 10m and lift 2m in hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton, hard red earth and earth mixed with small size boulders, hard gravelly soil etc., as per SS 20A including laying and spreading in layer etc.complete.

Providing and laying including cost and conveyance of gravel from approved sources to work site including labour for spreading, watering and compacting by power roller to achieve the required Proctor density at 100% compaction at Optimum moisture content and hire fuel charges for powerroller, watersprinkler and all other incidental charges such as traffic barricading and providing dangerlights etc. comp

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam(WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers with pavers in SubBase/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including cost of material,labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Providing and laying of Prime coat using 7 Kg of Bituminous Emulsion-SS-1 for 10 sqm over the WMM surface preparatory to another bituminous construction over it including, including cost of material, labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc.,

Providing and laying Tack coat over WMM surface(treated with primer) using 2.5Kg of bitumen emulsion RS-1 for 10 sqm for preparatory to another bituminous construction over it, including cost of material, labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc.,

Providing and laying Bituminous concrete using 0.13cum of 19.00-9.50mm, 0.17cum of 9.5-2.36, 0.26 cum of 2.36mm and below with 47.28 kgs of VG30 bitumen and 3.02 kgs of plastic wastes for 10 sq.m. and heating the aggregates to required temperature and mixing them in required temperature in central hot mix plant 20-30 ton capacity, carrying the mix by tipper trucks to paver site, spreading the mix to uniform thickness with mechanical paver to the specified grades and cross sections and consolidated by 8-10 tonnes vibratory/phenumatic roller to the required density etc., including labour for attending to paver to site etc.including hire charges and fuel charges foe 20-30t CMP with bitumen boiler, tipper trucks,paver finisher/9m paver finisher,vibratory/phenumatic roller and all other tools and plants required, including fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as per specification using CMP as per clauses 507 of MORTH Part-5.

Supply and fixing of HM stone of standard design and drawing as per IRC:26-1967, including painting and numbering etc., and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Supply and fixing of Kilometre stone of standard design and drawing as per IRC:8-1980 (second revision),including painting and numbering etc., and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Providing and erecting of Retro - Reflectorised Cautionary , Mandatory and Information signs (with Definition Board ) made out of High intensity Prismatic grade Sheeting Confirming to Type-IV Standard of IRC-67 : 2012 and ASTM D 4956-09 , Specification and fixed over 2 mm thick Aluminium sheet fixed over a back Supporting frame of 25 mm X 25mm X 3mm Mild steel angel angle and supported on a mild steel angle post 75 mm X 75 mm X 6 mm with a clear height of not less than 2.10 m from the ground level to the bottom of the sign board and 0.60 m below ground level . The sign post should be painted asper IRC 67 -2012 and firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm X 45 cm X 60 cm size including cot and conveyance of all materials , Equipment , machinery and labour with all leads and lifts , Loading charges necessary for satifactory completion of the works as directed by the engineer in Charge . High intensity Retro - Reflectro sheet shall consist of minimum coefficient of Retro - Reflection as per Table 6.6 of IRC 67 - 2012 . The retro - Reflective sheeting shall be covered under 7 year warrenty issued for field performance and certified copy of theree years outdoor exposure report shall be obtained as per IRC 67 - 2012 (As per MORT & H Specification no .801) - 90 cm High Octagon with definition board

Providing and fixing reflective road studs of ‘category A’ Raised pavement markers made out of poly carbonate / methyl methercrylate /ABS moulded body confirming to ASTM D 788 and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values conforming to ASTM D4280. The reflective raised pavement markers shall also confirm to the MORTH circular No RW / NH. 33023/ 10/ 97-DO.III dt 11.06.97. The height, width and length shall not be less than 15 mm, 90 mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sq.cm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/ - 5 degree. Each reflector shall have a CIL not less than values specified in Table 2 of said MORTH circular. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/ - 2mm arid height not less than 30+/ - 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kgf. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer. The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D428O and confirming to IRC 35 - 2015 guidelines and MORT&H specification 804 etc., complete

Part-B:- Maintenance work

Maintenance Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under MGSMT including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRC-SP-20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost

For the Fourth Year from the date of completion of work

For the Fifth Year from the date of completion of work
