The Railway reserves the right to place orders for entire or bulk quantity on OEMs or their authorized dealers. Any firm quoting on behalf of OEM must submit valid & tender specific authorization certificate from their OEM along with their offer and agree for inspection by the nominated agency (as the case may be) at the premises of their principal, failing which their offer is liable to be rejected. Clause No 16.5 of Eastern Railway General Tender condition will be applicable for this tender
In terms of DPIIT/Ministry of Commerce and Industries order no. P- 45021/2/2017 PP (BE II) dated 16.09.2020 which is circulated vide Rly Board letter no 2020/RS(G)/779/2/Pt. 1 dated 25.09.2020 and Keeping in view with the public procurement (Preference to Make in India) order 2017 as amended time to time, only class 1 and class 2 local suppliers are eligible to participate in this tender. For detail Clause no 28.0 of Eastern Rly General Tender Condition to be referred.
