Cutting in earth work in by mechanical in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soils including, dewatering wherever required, setting of to the required lines, levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer -in-charge at site., according to the HP.PWD. specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful and unuseful material and transportation of the unuseful material for disposing at dumping site (To be arranged by the contractor) as per satisfaction of Engineer- in -charge through all modes of transportation including head load ,animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, machineries, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour ( if required ). All useful material such as stones, shingles aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidental charges.

Earth work in excavation for structure in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) all earth work in cutting/ excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width , camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. All the surplus excavated earth to be dumped at dumping site(dumping sites will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost).Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him at his on cost in all cases. including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in earth work etc. in all kinds of soils including spade work, saturated soil, pick work, jumper work, blasting and chiseling/wedging out rock etc. and pumping or bailing out water including dressing of side and beds and stacking of serviceable materials in all leads and disposal of surplus excavated earth in all leads and disposed earth to the leveled and neatly dressed including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts upto approved dumping site which will be arranged by the contractor him self & as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:4:8(One cement: four sand :eight graded crushed stone aggregate 20mm(twenty miliemtre)nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and Laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. I. P.C.C nominal mix 1:5:10 (one cement: five sand :ten graded stone aggregte 40 mm (forty milimetre) nominal size).

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203. (a) Cement Mortar 1:4:8(one cement:four sand:eight graded stone aggregate 40mm(forty milimetre) nominal size) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. .

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i)Granular material

Providing weep holes in Breast wall/Retaining wall on stone masonry with 100mm & P.V.C. pipe with slop of 1:20 to wards the face complete as per drawing including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of sub-graded by dressing to camber (earth work for the cutting involved for sub grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil) completed as per HP PWD Specifications including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulations etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and re-rolling the sub-grade completed as per HP PWD Specifications 1990 volume-I including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/ binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 1 as per Technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.(a)By Mechanical Means

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening /binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2(two) as per Technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) By Mechancial Means

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 (three)as per Technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) By Mechanical Means.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.90- 1.2 Kg./Sqm. using mechanical means as per Techanical Specification Clause 502 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with paving Bitumen emulsion (RS-I) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30Kg. per sqm (zero point two five to zero point three zero kilogram/square metre) on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 30mm (thirty milimetre)thick bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes(seventy five tonnes) per hour crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.40 to 5.60 per cent (five point four zero to five point six zero percent) of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No.508 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i) 30mm(thirty milimetre) thick.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site upto all lead and lift laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providng and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 (Two) 900mm (nine hudnred milimetre) dia for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2(One cement : two sand) but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 1108 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

20cm (Twenty centimetre)flagged stone flooring laid in cement mortar 1:3(One cement : three sand) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
