Construction of embankment CBR 8% (New road) Construction of Embankment CBR 8% (for new road) with approved material obtained from borrow pits, including compensation of earth, with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2, as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications. At no place top of sub grade of road shall not be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side on at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. (HSR 17.6) Note: In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 57031.55 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 57031.55 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 57031.55 cum, then only 57031.55 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 5 of DNIT. Moulded Shank Road Stud Supplying and fixing of single mould twin shank reflective road studs made out of poly carbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values@ ASTM E 809 & ASTM D 4280. The detailed specifications and the product shall conform to ASTM D4280 and ASTM E 809. The raised pavement marker shall also meet all the testing conditions of ASTM D4280 like abrasion resistance and fixed to the road surface using the epoxy adhesive. Two cylinderical polymer shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be moulded in the RPM body.
