RE-SURFACING ROAD

Material and Labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen complete all as specified and directed.

Materail and Labour for Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of VG-30 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for laying and consolidating bituminous premix asphaltic semi-dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix by using paving bitumen (VG-30 Grade) any penetration mixed in hot mix plant, spread and laid by using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber, gradient and to uniform surface complete all as specified and as directed. Note: [a] Contractor shall use both 8 to 12 ton tandem vibratory roller & Pneumatic tyre roller (PTR) [b] The contractor will be required to get the job mix formula based on marshal method designed from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras or from any NIT/Government Engineering colleges/any other Govt. /NABL accredited laboratory approved by the GE. The cost on account of job mix design and testing of bitumen and road materials shall be borne by the contractor [c] The binder content mentioned above is minimum/ tentative and shall be provided as per actual job mix design. [d] The unit Rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of making good of any undulation/damages in wearing surfaces, where semi sense asphaltic concrete to be laid.

Premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber consolidated thickness 75 mm or less with paving bitumen content of 4% by weight of total mix any penetration etc., complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Contractor shall quote this rate by considering 4% binder content. If the bitumen content works out to be less than 4% as per job mix formula, the amount shall be recovered for the lesser content of bitumen at the rate of Rs.50/Kg.However there will not be any adjustment on plus side if the bitumen content is more than 4%. No other claim whatsoever on account of this will be allowed.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic compound 2.5mm thick of white, golden, yellow or black colour as required and confirming to BS 3262-1989 including reflectorising glass bead @ 0.25 Kg/Sqm as per IRC:35(1997) and as per Clause 803 of MORTH specification with special applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser propane tank heater and profile shoe heater with heating arrangement up to 160°C, driven by experienced operator all as per manufacturers' instruction etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall(100%water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc., complete all as specified and directed.
