Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 M wide and not exc 1.5 M in depth for pipe line, etc getting out in soft/ loose soil and levelling of bottom surface to required level complete all as specified & directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 CM complete all as specified & directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and spreading of dry (Ganga) sand, free from organic impurities for cushioning as in trenches 8cm depth below cable and 15cm above cable and punned to 10cm depth complete all as specified & directed. Note :- Punned thickness shall be considered for measurement purpose.

M&L brick, sub class 'B' bricks laid dry, flat, length equal to width of brick over sand cushioning in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laid in trench /fixed in replacement with surface of wall/roof etc jointing, thimbling and glanding in suitable size testing to cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric LT cable with alumunium conductor 1100 volts, grade cross section area 3.5 core x 70 Sqmm (earthed) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laid in trench /fixed in replacement with surface of wall/roof etc jointing, thimbling and glanding in suitable size testing to cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric LT cable with alumunium conductor 1100 volts, grade cross section area 3.5 core x 50 Sqmm (earthed) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair/overhauling of existing APFC panel 50 KVAR TO 75 KVAR capacity/rating incl cleaning with compressed air, tightening of all electric connections, replacement of wornout/ unserviceable cable of suitable capacity/rating with suppy & replacement of lugs, re-fixing of panel door with proper fixing/locking arrangement, glands to be provided as required at cable entries incl any work not included above but considered necessary for efficient performance of APFC panel and testing on completion complete all as specified & directed. Note: Contractor should be be quote the rate including required material.

All as per item No 8.00 above but capacity 125 KVAR complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for Earthing in replacement complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick surrounded with charcoal and salt, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead using GI earth strip in size 32 x6 mm means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by galvanized iron 40 mm dia light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc complete all as specified & directed.

Notes for Item No. 32.00: (i) The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I. (ii) Item includes the cost of 7.50m GI pipe for protection of earth wire/strip Any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order. (iii) Item includes cost of 7.50m earth lead wire/strip. Any variation in length shall be adjusted through deviation order. (iv) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.

M&L for painting to steel structure/ fancing (both side wall)/ gate / board etc in any size/ make / thickness etc with MS fittings such as cross arms, clamps, pipe channel, bracing / wire mesh fencing ( both side will be considered as one unit) installation board etc after removing ,scraping cleaning etc to old paint using shyenthic enamel paint applying two coat (one as finishing ) over one coat of red primer oxided by paint spray gun including marking/ written indication sign/ words in diffrent colour etc complete all as specified & directed. Note : Paint colour shall be approved by Deptt.

M & L Painting to existing steel four pole structure of 11 mtr height including mild steel work like cross arms, clamps, pipe channel, bracing etc after cleaning and prepration of surfaces painting externally above painting depth with one coat of aluminum paint over a coat of aluminum primer including preparation of existing surfaces and marking pole numbers in 15 cm dia with approved colour in circular and making 03 Numbers & 02 Numbers of bands & strips with 30 cm wide fluorescent paint from bottom of pole to 1.5 mtr height of pole complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Cutting of bushes & tree branches upto 3 Mtrs height of pole shall be deemed included in quoted unit rate.

M & L Painting to existing steel pole structure of 09 mtr height including mild steel work like cross arms, clamps, pipe channel, bracing etc after cleaning and prepration of surfaces painting externally above painting depth with one coat of aluminum paint over a coat of aluminum primer including preparation of existing surfaces and marking pole numbers in 15 cm dia with approved colour in circular and making 03 Numbers & 02 Numbers of bands & strips with 30 cm wide fluorescent paint from bottom of pole to 1.5 mtr height of pole complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Cutting of bushes & tree branches upto 3 Mtrs height of pole shall be deemed included in quoted unit rate.

Note :- (i) Credit shown in credit schedule of tender document shall be considered by the tenderer while quoting the rates of various items. The same shall be recovered from various payment to contractor before handing over old material. The contract amount shall be arrived at after deduction of Schedule of Credit from the total quoted amount in BOQ. (ii) Make of material shall be as per mentioned in Particular specifications or Appendix 'B' to Particular specifications as approved by AGE (I) AF manauri if not mentioned in BOQ.
