REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF UNSERVICEABLE COMPRESSOR AND ALLIED WORKS OF AC PLANTS OF HTL-05, BARRACK WKSP, LTL-3, AND AGM/SBM AT NAD EXPLOSIVE AREA AT NAVAL STATION KARANJA

Dismantling and removing old unserviceable compressor sealed unit of Scroll Type Compressor carefully and supply, installation, testing new sealed Compressor unit of capacity 12.5 TR Model No SZ185S4RC complete with all standard accessories as per existing model installed at AC plant, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Sealed unit shall be purchased from authorised dealers/agents (ii) Cost of labour for fixing and testing of leakage alongwith initial charging of suitable refrigerant and T&P shall be deemed to include in the quoted rate of this item. (iii) Unit rate quoted shall include for the necessary electrical check i.e. checking of panel wiring to run the compressor smoothly. (iv) Before opening/ dismantling of unserviceable compressor the refrigerant to be taken in empty cylinder as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Location : AGM/SBM-01, Barrack Wksp-02) (v) Contractor shall submit test certificate alongwith purchase voucher before claiming the payment.

Notes :- (i) Sealed unit shall be purchased from authorised dealers/agents (ii) Cost of labour for fixing and testing of leakage alongwith initial charging of suitable refrigerant & T & P shall be deemed to include in the quoted rate of this item. (iii) Unit rate quoted shall include for the necessary electrical check i.e. checking of panel wiring to run the compressor smoothly. (iv) Before opening/ dismantling of unserviceable compressor the refrigerant to be taken in empty cylinder as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Location : HTL-5) (v) Contractor shall submit test certificate alongwith purchase voucher before claiming the payment.

Material and labour for taking out all old unserviceable PVC fills from cooling tower of capacity upto 100 TR and supply and fix in replacement of eliminator of cooling tower upto 100 TR, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning the cooling tower of capacity upto 35 TR by applying wire brush, washing powder and other solvent by removing the deposited impurities such as silt, dust particles mud/ sand inside the dome and around the fins, cleaning of base tray & grills, pot strainer, main shaft etc and other connected items, servicing of fan motor including changing of bearings and greasing refixing the fan, frill & top cover including testing commissioning after reassembling complete including painting all as directed by Engr-in-charge

Supply and installation, testing and commissioning of Temperature & Humidity Data Logger with audio visual alarm system including all sensors, cabling and wiring (Indoor + Outdoor), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Complete Servicing of AHUs installed in AC plants, removing of air filters and refixing after cleaning with air blower and water with suitable cleaning agent , cleaning of cooling coil with wire brush ,air blower and water spraying pump with gun and mixing the chemical suitable for removing of scales on aluminium fins and straighten the fins of cooling coil by using suitable brush for capacity upto 10000 CFM, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of Thermal Insulation Of Ducts with Nitrile Rubber, 25 mm thick with aluminium cladding, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Density of Material shall be between 40 to 60 Kg/m3. Note :- Material shall have flammability class V-0 as per UL 94 and shall be FM Approved.

Supply, assemble and erection including taking down and repair of GI sheet with C & SS rectangular/square duct made out of L shaped hollow profile, duly factory boxed, including all accessories such as corner, cleat, carriage bolt, gasket and appropriate sealant on longitudinal joint etc complete of size 24 gauge , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour in repair for duct insulation including taking down resin bonded fibre glass wool roll of density 24 Kg/Cum, with factory laminated aluminium vapour barrier, thickness of insulation 50 mm, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge and including the following :- (a) Material and Labour for cleaning the duct surface (to be insulated) by scrapping carefully with wire brush etc. to make the surface completely free of mill scale, dirt, dust, grease and other foreign materials, taking special care so that all duct joints are sealed against any leakage. (b) Material and Labour for applying rubber based adhesive CPRX compound. (c) Material and Labour for sealing of all longitudinal joints and circular overlaps with and including aluminium foil tape 50 mm wide, to make the insulation leakproof. (d) Material and Labour for securing the insulation with and including mechanically fastened nylon / steel straps of size 12 mm / 50 mm at maximum intervals of 1.2 metres.

Supply and Fix in replacement MCB TPN 4 Pole, 415 V, 40 Amps with breaking capacity 16 KA including taking down old unserviceable MCB, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix DOL starter in sheet steel enclosure, A/C 3 phase, type MN, required for 1/1.5/2/3 HP, 415 Volt 3 Phase motor, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement power contactor 3 pole, type MNX 22 or 25 , 1NO + 1 NC aux contracts with standard coil voltage 240 volts, rating 30 Amp of equivalent contactor of other makes as per site requirement in bluestar and voltas AC plants including taking down old unserviceable contactor, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Make should be as per existing item)

Supply and fix in replacement power contactor 3 pole, type MNX 12, 1NO + 1 NC aux contracts with standard coil voltage 240 volts, rating 30 Amp of equivalent contactor of other makes as per site requirement in bluestar and voltas AC plants including taking down old unserviceable contactor, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Make should be as per existing item)

Supply and fix in replacement power contactor 3 pole, type MNX 18, 1NO + 1 NC aux contracts with standard coil voltage 240 volts, rating 30 Amp of equivalent contactor of other makes as per site requirement in bluestar and voltas AC plants including taking down old unserviceable contactor, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Supply and fix in replacement bimetal overload relay type MN-02 of relay range, 2.5 to 5 Amp with single phasing protection, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of CVT for chiller controller power supply 3 phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz AC, including taking down old unserviceable chiller controller, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix Microprocessor Scroll Controller for compressor of 12.5-40 TR Capacity including removing unserviceable of Microprocessor, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- The Microprocessor should be as per the existing one and installed by the company authorised person duly calibrated and necessary wiring work also included in the quoted rate.

Material and Labour for repairs to condenser of AC plant by blocking the damaged/corroded tubes with the following instructions :- (i) Disconnecting the side covers of the condenser from their existing positions. (ii) Leakage testing of the condenser using pressurised nitrogen gas and finding the leaked tubes. (iii) Blocking the damaged/leaked tubes by brass plugs. (iv) Re-fixing the side covers of the condenser and the condenser valves from their existing positions with new nuts, bolts, rubber gasket and washers etc and painting the surface with approved shade of synthetic enamel paints for condenser of capacity 35TR and above.

Material and labour for laying, jointing, connecting and testing in repairs sensor cable 3 core 2.5 sqmm PVC insulated and sheathed with bare annealed copper conductor as per IS 694:1990 for connecting RH+T sensor to RH+T indicators complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
